AAVGS: CHAPTER 11
LUCK…AND NEEDING A WHOLE LOT OF IT
Before I start, I’m going to address a few comments about how Chun-Li’s character, (and for that matter, a lot of the ones in this fic) was certainly not what they expected, that she was ‘out of character.’ I’ll explain this.
As I already mentioned, Chun was based on the Street Fighter 2 V Anime. She wasn’t based on SF2 The Movie, SF Alpha Movie or any of the games. In this anime, she, whilst having a nice personality, acted a bit spoilt and bratty, almost cheerleader like at time, particularly towards Ken. Her time of the island made this bratty persona come out more than her nicer character, in other words, Survivor brought out the worst in her.
This comes also to characters such as Akane, Shinji, Davis and Gary. None of them are who you expect because the island changes them. Some for the better, some for the worst. Akane for example, didn’t have to deal with the hectic life in Nerima she does every day and had a chance to enjoy herself and calm down. She made some new friends, and was generally looked upon as the mother of the old Helang because she was the oldest. Shinji also, is away from the pressures of his life in his work as an Eva-pilot and Nerv. He doesn’t have to run away, and the horror that is Asuka/Misato is also away. Davis on the island as well, he reflected on everything had happened, and finally had a good think about it, and generally was the nice guy you saw rather than the Kari-obsessed 02 leader. And finally, Gary. Personally, I never saw Gary as a brat, I saw him as someone who was good, and he knew it. The island showed the personality I always saw him as, a loner wishing to make friends.
O.K, enough BS. At the end of the fic, you can see the 16 for the two new survivors, AAVGS 2: Battle at the Duelist Kingdom so let’s get this wrapped up…

(The sunrise over the Mishima Beach, known as Sekutu Beach for the 6 remaining contestants. Akito stands over the pedesal of Tribal Council, where last nights elimination surprised almost everybody.)
Akito: Last night, I was standing here, even myself expected to see young Gohan to be eliminated. However, to everyone here, the first real shock since the merge occurred when Chun-Li was eliminated thanks to a double-cross by Shinji and Tenchi. Now, we have coverage from last night, returning to the camp.
(Shot via night-cam of the remaining 6, as a thunderstorm is starting to crack and you can see the rain coming down)
Tenchi: Ironic. We backstab Chun, and the gods have shone upon us with a storm.
Shinji: It’s almost like we’re being punished.
(Shot as Gohan, with an arm around Sakura who is trying to get as close to avoid the rain is watching the two guys, not surprised really with the result now. Two people who are surprised are just behind them.)
Duo: Well…she’s gone. My partner in crime…my friend and sweetheart…
Julia: You don’t sound as bitter as I’d thought you would be.
Duo: (sighs) I’ll miss her, definitely…but I guess…she did have it coming. (smiles) I just didn’t expect it to be so soon…or who to impliment it.
Julia: Me neither…Tenchi…
Duo: …and Shinji…
Julia/Duo: Being evil? (in unison) They’ve been hanging around Serena too much…
(Serena: Off screen – Hey, this is getting to be a nasty running gag now, I’m not that evil!)
Julia: I dunno if this a sign of betrayal from the two…or it was just a pact…I guess, although I was good friends with Chun, you never slap a young girl when she hasn’t really done anything…in the end, the end justified the means.
Duo: I guess…it doesn’t mean I gotta like it though. That means I ain’t got an ally.
Julia: I think we gotta talk to the two guys in the morning…
(As the storm continues to get worse, we go back to Mr. Tenkawa.)
Akito: And talk to them, they did.

(Day 30, 8.01am.)
(Just after 8 o’clock, and the 4 remaining members of Ulah are having a tribal council of their own.)
Tenchi: We had our reasons as you know. It’s a risk letting Gohan remain on the island but we needed to make a stand, to say that type of behaviour isn’t allowed.
Duo: I guess…I suppose it was right, and a punishment, but I still felt we should have got rid of Gohan before. We could have got rid of Chun after if you wanted, I had a feeling a few of us would have got sick of her after that stunt.
Shinji: It may be a risk, but I’ve dealt with enough trauma to know what she did was wrong, and exile was the way to end it.
Julia: Hey, everyone, let’s just forget it. One way or another, someone was going anyway. So it was someone different than most of us expected, heck, Gohan and Sakura were just as surprised as we were...it's another day, and we’ve got another chance to win, so let’s just forget it now.
(Ulah may have forgiven and forgotten together, but on their own, it’s a different story.)
(Julia: I trust Tenchi…I still do, and feel this is a one-off. If Gohan doesn’t win immunity, he will go. However, I feel that Shinji is someone not to be trusted. He lasted a heck of a lot longer than some people expected, I think he’s in to win, and to win at any cost.)
(Duo: I’m not sure. Shinji has a lot of values, and seeing someone being ‘bullied’ I suppose probably got to him. Tenchi, on the other hand, I always knew he saw Chun as a strong competitor, and perhaps this was the perfect excuse to get rid of someone that could be a strong threat. I dunno.)
(As for Helang, well, they still can’t believe they are still together)
Sakura: (washing her hair) I can’t believe it…I would never had guessed…
Gohan: It shows that a lot of people care you know what happens on this island. They obviously sacrificed a good chance to get rid of the strongest member of the group, just so that everyone could still remain a unified tribe.
Sakura: It just…well, this means we could still have a chance you know.
Gohan: The seeds of distrust have been planted, we just need to hope that they grow.
Sakura: Well…at least we’re still together for another three days…(Looks embarrassed)…if I’d known, I probably wouldn’t have gone all….er…(blushes)
Gohan: Oh…(blushes as well)…well…
Sakura: (smiles) Unless you want it to be a ritual before a tribal council.
Gohan: (getting real hot under the collar) Er…well, that night before Tenchi interrupted us, it showed how close we were…(slowly)…I’m not against it.
Sakura: You are so cute Gohan-kun!
(Gives her island sweetheart a hug and Gohan returns it. The two return to the depleted mini-council as they have all gone on with their duties now. Later in the day, they will be ready for the reward challenge.)
Tenchi: (trying to split some wood to make some makeshift chopsticks) Hey, we need something to do before the rice cooks, we’ve been using our hands and anything for tools, might as well as least return to our roots.
Shinji: I don’t think I’ve even been close to my roots since I started this game…
Tenchi: You still can’t believe we got away with it…
Shinji: Yeah. I don’t think anyone can really complain about it though.
(Shot as Sakura and Gohan are coming up to them, ready for breakfast)
Tenchi: Nah, let’s just keep it one step at a time, and keep going.
(Tenchi: Have I got an alliance with Shinji? Maybe. He’s been the underdog since we began, and he’s got this far. With us combined, we should be able to not only keep in good order with most of the tribe, but we can easily look and choose who will be going next time.)
Julia: Is everything ready?
Shinji: Almost…(Stirs a bit of rice)…yeah, where’s Duo?
Julia: He’s just gone to collect some wood…oh wait, he’s coming. (calls out) Duo, breakfast is ready!
Duo: (drops the wood) Not a moment too soon either…
(The 6 remaining enjoy their crispy rice breakfast, no-one even mentioning what happened last night….O.K I’m lying.)
Duo: Don’t worry guys, I’m not mad about what happened last night. It just shows that the game is coming to the end…and whether I like it or not, the game is certainly getting interesting.
Shinji: Sorry anyway, but it was something we had to do.
Julia: As long as I get first shot at killing Tenchi…
Tenchi: Hey…now wait a second, I wasn’t the only one here…
Duo: That’s true…I get second shot, right Julia?
Julia: Granted.
(Tenchi panics and runs away…yes Tenchi, not Shinji…as Duo and Julia run after him, leaving Gohan to sneakily pick at both of their meals, to Sakura and Shinji’s amusement. Tenchi is defeated as the two perform the devastating tickle torture as the other three try and save Tenchi from a fate worse than death…)
Tenchi: (mock grumbling) Why me…
Sakura: Because everyone loves you of course!
Tenchi: (remembering the phone call) Please…don’t remind me…
Gohan: Well, don’t worry, I’m sure by the end of today, I’ll probably still be on a death wish anyway, so let’s just forget it.
All: Agreed.
Duo: Hey, didn’t I have more rice?
(As the group enjoy a post-war breakfast, we realise that we are nearing the end, and alliances and trust are now things that may not be all they seem. Last night’s eviction showed that. Whilst there is no doubt that the Gohan/Sakura alliance is damn near unbreakable, the remaining 4 of Ulah have a few alliances within alliances…)

Akito: When Helang and Ulah merged into Sekutu, it was 6 to 4 in favour of Ulah. Although the two groups bonded to boot off Serena, it became a game of war since then to eliminate each member at will. All of Ulah were an alliance to get rid of each one at a time. First Akane, then Nene. However, then the mini-alliances appeared.)
From: Tenchi, Julia, Shinji, Duo and Chun, we had; (before Chun’s elimination)
Tenchi & Julia: Strong bond which seems to be the strongest of the island apart from maybe Sakura/Gohan.
Duo & Shinji: Bonded through their mecha links, but when Duo began to see Chun more, that bond began looking weaker, leading to…
Duo & Chun: Planning everything, they had hoped to be able to think of everything. However, they hadn’t counted on…
Shinji and Tenchi: When Shinji found out about D/C and T/J, he was panicking, but Tenchi reassured him that he’d prefer a different target to him. This alliance didn’t really kick in until last night, where they openly voted for Chun after an incident with Sakura.
Now this leads to a possible weakened link between Tenchi and Julia, and a new alliance maybe between Julia and Duo. However, Gohan and Sakura are still in this game, and may be easily persauded to join a group as well, so this game is officially wide open.

(11.30am, just before reward challenge)
Sakura: You still feel you’re going aren’t ya?
Gohan: I think last night was a one-off, and I’ll still be the favourite to go. However, if I win immunity…
Sakura: …I’m not sure if I’d be automatic to assume if I was going.
Gohan: Yeah, with everything that has happened, I’m not sure who trusts who anymore.
Sakura: I’ll always trust you though.
Gohan: Same here. (bravely pecks Sakura on the cheek as the card captor blushes) We’d better get ready sweetie.
Sakura: Ahhh…
(Chris’ diary – This is now officially the second weirdest ‘kawaii couple you’d never expect.’ The first is Mikey/Casey from Poke-mole…^_^)
(Meanwhile, as the others continue their normal routines, Julia decided to confront Tenchi privately about the dreaded ‘T’ word, trust.)
Julia: I thought we’d be going through this game together. But last night…
Tenchi: I said I’d never put your name on that ballot didn’t I? And I didn’t. I never said anything about not putting another person’s name from our tribe on it.
Julia: Well…I think there is honour among thieves.
Tenchi: True, but I still and will always be with you Julia. I have not gone against my word for that…
Julia: Well…what does that mean for Tribal Council next time?
Tenchi: If Gohan isn’t immune, I’ll vote for him. You?
Julia: (sighs) I just don’t know anymore Tenchi. I think this game is really starting to tire me out.
Tenchi: Hey, you’re the spirit of the whole tribe…don’t go out on us now…
Julia: It’s just….I really like you Tenchi…and I felt like I may have been betray…MMM…
(Tenchi kissing Julia a la when he kissed Sakuya in TIT…^_^…err, maybe I should say the whole name….Tenchi in Tokyo)
Tenchi: (lets go) I’ll never betray you Julia, you know that. Last time it was because of a personal problem with one particular person. But I’ll never vote you off…
Julia: (a bit teary eyed) I didn’t expected this to get to me…I just thought that of all people, you wouldn’t…well, it surprised me.
Tenchi: I think everyone was surprised last night.
Julia: Just next time…tell me when you will viciously backstab someone in the back.
Tenchi: Of course. (both smile as they give each other a comforting hug. Meanwhile, Duo and Shinji are simply preparing for the reward)
(Duo doing some kickboxing kata, as Shinji watches a fellow mecha pilot show he’s no slouch in other areas as well)
Duo: I think after last night, I need to put this behind me and enjoy hopefully a chance to win some good grub. I swear there was less rice than I expected on the table…
(Shinji tries hard to hold a snicker in)
Duo: Anyway, Shinj, do you think you can win this now?
Shinji: (a bit surprised by the question) Huh…why do you ask?
Duo: Well, last time, I asked you that because I though the fact you didn’t vote against Nene put you in a slight doubt, now you’ve gone against another surprise I guess. Do you feel pressuerd?
Shinji: (smiles) Duo, guys like us in our line of life…we are always pressured. Agreed?
Duo: Well…yeah.
Shinji: This is nothing to me then compared to the life back home. This kind of pressure and backstabbing is like a walk in the park, and to me, this is just been an extended vacation for me.
Duo: Well…I guess I never thought about it that way.
Shinji: How many of us expected me to last this long anyway?
Duo: That’s a fair point. (realises what he said) Er…I didn’t mean it like that…
Shinji: Don’t worry, I was always an outsider even before the game started. I just need to be proud that I make this far…and beyond is simply another 3 days of a life that sometimes I would honestly prefer.
Duo: Shinji the philosopher…who would have thought it.
Shinji: Hey…they are leaving without us, come on, let’s get ready for a reward.
Duo: Sure thing!

(Reward Challenge: 12.14pm, Shot as we see Akito on the beach, the 6 remaining survivors standing on a stump in the water, where there are 6 long stretches of beam until the very end.)
Akito: Well, half a dozen to go. 10 have gone, and we break one more egg in a couple of days. But for now, we have the reward challenge. Around here, it is hard to survive without a balanced diet. Of course, a balance of rats and rice may not have been the option you were hoping for, but today’s challenge is about balance. All 6 of you will walk across these beams to the end. That’s it. If you fall, you have to go back to the spot you were at last.

Akito: Whoever makes it until the end gets a nice good old fashioned British breakfast as a reward. It’s the full shebang as well, so bacon, sausage, eggs, fried bread, toast, orange juice and hot cocoa for the winner. Hey, stop drooling, the weight will make you fall off!
(All snap out of their hunger daydreams, and get prepared.)
Akito: O.K, so on your marks…
(Duo is on the left side, then Gohan, Julia, Sakura, Shinji and Tenchi. There are sepereated by 2 feet.)
Akito: Set…
(All ready to move…)
Akito: …and GO!
(All 6 survivors, eager for that reward, move delicately across their beams, some faster, some slower, some more careful.)
(As we move to the first point, Tenchi and Duo are neck a neck on the beams. Behind them, not far behind is Gohan and Julia, followed by Shinji, also doing well. Sakura is last, because she fell going too quickly and is slowly behind them now.)
(The second point is even better, because everyone is not too far from each other. Tenchi and Duo continue the pace as Julia is now inches behind them. Gohan is slipping allowing Shinji to catch up. Sakura now seems to get the hang of this but is too behind the leaders to make any impact.)
(Final point is close, as it quickly becomes established a three horse race, as Duo, Tenchi and Julia get closer, the others starting to drift, Gohan in fact just stops and waits for Sakura. At the very end though, Duo jumps from the ramp and wins it by landing on the end of the ramp, millimetres ahead of Tenchi, before walking off.)
Akito: Luckily, as close as that was, we don’t have to go into a photo finish. So, Duo congratulations, one hearty English breakfast for you tomorrow morning.
Duo: Thank you!
(The others finish the beam race, and congratulate Duo on a job well done, and a reward well deserved.)

(The challenge leaves Duo on a high note, and memories of anything else past, present and future are forgotten as Duo reflects on the challenge.)
Duo: I dunno…I’ve been getting hungrier and hungrier since starting. That’s what the game is about, survival, and the reward challenge at least will keep me going for another day.
(Others also reflect on the challenge, and what was lost…)
Tenchi: Aw man…I was so close.
Duo: Hey, risks sometimes work, sometimes they don’t. Today, they did for me.
Sakura: I sucked at that!
Julia: I was surprised, you said you was a cheerleader…
Gohan: …yes, and she’s a bit clumsy.
(Thump to the head, I don’t care if you’re a Super Saiyan, an enraged magical girl walloping you will HURT…)
Sakura: WHAT WAS THAT?
Gohan: (rubbing his head) Nothing….nothing at all!
Shinji: (chuckling) You two sound like the original married couple.
Duo: (also chuckling) Oh…you mean like you and Asuka?
Shinji: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
(All laugh now as the rest of the day is for what means necessary, whether relaxing, playing, getting food…or strategy…)

(Sakura dives into the water, with a snorkel and spear, she is currently 2 fish behind the leading catcher, Julia, and wants the title of Queen of the Sea…^_^)
Julia: Your girlfriend isn’t going to beat me Gohan!
Gohan: Come on Sakura…and I’ll ignore the girlfriend comment for now.
Sakura: (surfacing) Hey…I’m not someone you can put on a bet you know…but just for the record, (the fork has a nice juicy fish) just one behind now. And I’m still cuter underwater!
Julia: Oh yeah? (off screen) Hey Chromus, who is cuter, her or me?
Chromus: Er…well…the cutest thing I saw today was…
Sakura/Julia: Uh huh…
Chromus: …the spoiler pictures of Takato and Jeri in Episode 51…uh oh.
(Chris gets smashed into oblivion Keitaro/Team Rocket style by a) Sakura/Julia who were angry for Chris not choosing them and b) everyone who didn’t want to know that. Probably a c) as well depending on how many Rika/Takato fans there are…)
Sakura: Anyway, a beating of an author and we eat tonight…what more is there in life?
Julia: You go girl! (The two high-five) You’re still not beating me though…
Sakura: Will too!
Gohan: Jesus…
Julia: Do you want to join the author in the heavens?
Gohan: No ma’am! (Remembers Sakura’s attack earlier, as Chris learned the really hard way, never incur the wrath of a woman.)
Julia: Good, now let’s keep this fresh for later shall we…
(As Sakura, Gohan and Julia prepare the late dinner, the three elder guys, Tenchi, Shinji and Duo are making the most of a rare chance of relaxation as the sun shines upon their up and coming tans…)
Duo: Well, if we don’t win the money, at least we have a few other benefits. A good tan…and losing weight…
Tenchi: I’ll recommend this to any weight watchers…that is if they want to struggle.
Duo: Well, at least for the pale skin of us, the sun does some good. And Shinji is our exhibit…
Shinji: I’ve never really appreciated the feel of sun on my back, never really had the chance.
Tenchi: This is what a vacation is like, feeling that burning on me…I too never really had a chance to appreciate it either…
Duo: Same here…
All the guys: Ahhhh…
(Suddenly, they are nailed with a tidal force of water….)
(Shot of the three guys looking up…and sees a smirking Gohan who just showed us why he’s always in danger of being removed. Behind him are a giggling Julia and Sakura.)
Duo: Tench, I’m starting to learn why you and Shinji are afraid of your respective girls back home.
Tenchi: Yep. Straightforward attack?
Shinji: Yep.
Duo: Affirmative.
Tenchi: CHARGE!
(The three guys lunge forward as it turns into a three on three battle in the water begins, Tenchi targets Julia, Gohan and Duo face off and Sakura and Shinji are also making the most of this. The day seems enjoyable for once as the 6 play into the sun…)

(Duo: It was nice for a change to relax and behave like children again, instead of worrying about the game, and I think last night’s backstab has been all but forgotten now, and it’s just ready to enjoy the atmosphere more than anything.)
(Julia: In the back of everyone’s minds, we don’t know who to trust now, but on our faces, we are having the time of our lives, and I sure as heck ain’t complaining.)
(Time, 8.07pm.)
(The group now setting in as the night skies begin to cast their black magic, and as the group gets smaller, the group retires to the tent, except for Shinji, who remains on the hammock, but still remains awake to listen and talk to the rest of the group.)
Shinji: The worst of the storm is over, otherwise I wouldn’t be sleeping here.
Gohan: Yeah, Shinji in the hammock was unusual last night…
Shinji: I dunno. I have a small fear I think of claustrophobia. I think it’s because of being in those Evas.
Duo: I think it’s something you’re forced to get used to. I had to get used to it quickly to work into the colonies, you need to otherwise you’re dead meat.
Sakura: The storm last night…trust me, it doesn’t take much to scare me at times…
Julia: …but at least you had your teddy bear with you.
Sakura: Hey, what about yours?
Tenchi/Gohan: WE’RE NOT OBJECTS YOU KNOW!
Julia/Sakura: Oops. (all laugh)
Shinji: (sighs) I dunno….it seems still a bit lonely…
Sakura: Do you miss Nene Shinji?
Gohan: What about you Duo? I know after last night she’s probably the last person we’d expect to talk about, but…
Duo: It’s alright guys, I know why you voted her off, and to be honest, I wasn’t as surprised as I thought I would be. I felt something like this would happen, and Sakura, I sure as heck hated her at the moment she hit you, but I think you can take it to the pressure of the island.
Sakura: I guess…I didn’t like it, but saying that, Gary was like that, he got steadily worse when the going got tougher.
Duo: Despite everything, I will miss her. There.
Gohan: Hey Shinji, you’re not get out of the Q & A that easily either, well…
Shinji: (panicking) I’m mustn’t run away, I mustn’t run away!
Gohan: Oh Christ…
Shinji: (recovering) Sorry, I get like that sometimes when I get nervous. The truth is that it was nice to meet her, and I hope I’ll get to see her again, she seems sane compared to the girls I know.
Sakura: Sane? Nene? Shinji, I th…oh wait. Sane compared to the girls you know? (has a think) O.K…point taken.
(All laugh and enjoy talking into the night, before they fall asleep)

(Morning, Day 31, 7.43am.)
(Although a pleasant night ensues for the team, they must all be thinking what to do for the immunity challenge. However, for one person, they will least be thinking about it on a full stomach.)
Duo: They said 8am sharp.
Tenchi: Enjoy your breakfast…because we will. (grumbles) Rice, rice, and what’s for dessert?
Julia: More rice!
Tenchi: Really…seriously, hows the rations like…how much rice have we got left?
Sakura: Well…huh?
(Sakura sees the rice rationing much smaller than she expected)
Shinji: That’s odd. I thought we had more than that the other day…
Gohan: That…sucks.
(The group mostly are wondering what is going on. Duo meanwhole, sees a boat as a recovered Chromus comes up…with breakfast fit for a Kingdra…)
Chromus: (sigh) Author of my own fic…and I’m relegated to being the bus-boy. Oh well, I guess cause Akito cooked the damn thing…
Duo: Hey, I’m hungry here!
Chromus: Touchy. Here you go, piping hot…and I gotta make sure you don’t share it…
(shot of the grub, there are bacon, eggs, sausages, orange juice, tea and cocoa, scones, toast, fried bread, jam, you name it, it’s there, and Duo is certainly not going to ask twice about this bounty shone before him.)
Duo: I’ve been getting hungrier and hungrier, and I know for a fact that the guys are suffering as well, it just feels like I need this.
(Duo takes a good sip of orange juice)
(Over on the rice side, food is a focal point of conversation…in this case, the lack of food, and how the rice supplement has gone down)
Julia: (eating what is considerably a lot less than expected) This is not good.
Tenchi: We’re gonna have to ration even further down than we already have, which isn’t exactly a good sign.
Gohan: You’re telling me…
(Look at Duo, who is eating ravenously without too much of a care)
Gohan: I envy him. He’s gonna be full and ready for immunity.
Julia: Do you want me to go and have a look for some fish?
Sakura: Are you sure?
Julia: Yeah…I can still go a bit, don’t worry about me.
Sakura: I’m not, I’m worried you’ll increase your record.
Julia: (smiles) I should have known.
(Julia goes off to swim as Chromus looks on as Duo has almost inhaled his breakfast. He literally licks the platter clean, savouring every bit he can. He finished off the last of the orange juice, filled with as much sugar as possible so he can have that extra energy)
(He spots Julia going into the sea, smiles, and stretches out.)
Duo: For the first time since arriving, I am full. I can relax this off now before the immunity challenge.
Chromus: Very well, I’ll go get Akito to prepare for the challenge.
(Chromus goes away (yes!) for the moment, as Duo returns)
Tenchi: You enjoy that?
Duo: Yeah…I do think I needed that. I would have offered…but they wouldn’t let me.
Gohan: I’m just glad that I wasn’t allowed to use any of my powers under a contract, otherwise I would have blasted out of the sky, stole the breakfast and fly away to pastures anew…
Duo: You that hungry?
Sakura: The rations have gone done unexpectedly, maybe some of it went flooding during that last big storm we had the other night.
Tenchi: Julia’s gone to see if she can catch some fish, we need something…
Duo: I’ll help if you want, I’m full so I won’t need it.
Sakura: Sure, thanks Duo.
(Duo goes to help Julia in trying to get some fish, but as the group sits on empty stomachs, Shinji comes up with the idea that has been plaguing them since discovering the problem…)
Shinji: Do you suppose someone stole the rice?
(Silence.)
Tenchi: (sighs) Yeah, and the worst part is that it is someone here.
Gohan: Oh no…let’s not get into any arguments quickly, the last time it happened, it resulted in a slap for Sakura and an exile for Miss Li.
Sakura: He’s right though…I don’t think this is mother natures doing, this is…
Chromus: (off screen) A SABOTAGE! What…just because I’m coming to the end of Poke-mole doesn’t mean I can’t use their ideas.
(All ponder this element, whilst discreetly looking at each other. A level of true backstabbing is a possibility here, but who is the real mole around here…)
(Meanwhile, Julia strikes it lucky as Duo’s swimming manages to lure a fish into the path of the Tekken’s fighters spear. Satisfied, she takes it and she and Duo go back to shore)
Julia: Well…we can eat it now…or…
(Too late, as Gohan grabs it and puts it on the pan, as the others begin hoping just for a little something extra before immunity)
Julia: We’ve become savages…

(The ‘savages’ as Julia calls them do have to ponder about the rice problem, but in the meantime, another problem is coming, the immunity challenge, and despite getting a reprieve in the last tribal council, one member at least will know he has to go out for nothing…)
Gohan: Another day, another chance for me to get evicted…
Sakura: I dunno, do you think it may be a chance to get round Ulah and stir up their defences a bit…I mean, with Tenchi and Shinji taking out Chun-Li last time, Duo and Julia will have to think that they might do it again.
Gohan: Well…I suppose, but everyone including myself, knows the threat I pose, so for me, it’s all and bust.
Sakura: But…if you win…I’ll probably go…WAAAH! IT’S NOT FAIR!
Gohan: (chuckles) Tenchi said it himself, how could they vote someone as cute as you off…
Sakura: (throws some sand at him) Watch it buster…
Gohan: Seriously, I think you could survive…although this rice problem is…well, a problem.
Sakura: Yeah…we’ll wither away in the wind…
Gohan: Er, Sakura…there is no breeze…
Sakura: Oh boy…
(All of Helang are doing their own preparations as well)
Shinji: Compared to everyone else here it seems that my atheltic preparations aren’t quite up to….well, everyone elses level.
Duo: True…but Shinji, we fight in megaton mechas.
Shinji: Good point…I’ve never really needed to exercise…except running away from Asuka and Misato…
Duo: …just plain running away really.
Shinji: (slowly) I guess…
Duo: Aahhh…that filled me up, immunity here I come!
(Meanwhile)
Tenchi: (squirming) This is hurting me a bit now…(embarrassed)…but now? How about after the challenge?
Julia: (slyly) Oh Tenchi dear…you saying you wouldn’t like it….didn’t think you of all people would be in for these kinky games…
Tenchi: (blushing) Well…
(Julia smiles and reach down…and take out some cream, which he puts on Tenchis’ er…well…rear…but it’s because he’s got some marking on his rear, caused by termites, and the pain is literally biting him…)
Tenchi: (blushing) You better hope they edit this out back home…
Julia: (also blushing) Just make up an address for me, and hope they don’t have any lie detectors.
Tenchi: You obviously haven’t met Washu then…she’ll have a lie observatory created by the time I come home.
Julia: I’m sure they’ll forgive you if you win the money…
Tenchi: Ryoko would hide it in some secret base of hers or something if I won it…
(Julia and Tenchi continue to exchange obvious beauty tips and how to escape powerful megalomaniacs…however, the time has come, one person will be guaranteed another 3 days on the island, but who, we’ll find out in a matter of time…)

(3.30pm, Immunity Challenge)
(Shot of the group on a raft which just fits the 6 of them. Akito is back from his breakfast duties and is now introducing the challenge)
Akito: Well, and now, it’s time for immunity. Throughout the last month or so, you have had many challenges and tests involving your strength, speed, stamina, intelligence, and just recently balance. Now, we test another vital factor of survival…luck.
Shinji: Oh dear…
Akito: This challenge is open and it doesn’t matter how strong and skilled you are, anyone can be lucky in winning this challenge. At the bottom of this sea bed, there are over 50 small chests. In one of them, there is the immunity bracelet. Simply put, the person who finds it wins immunity. There aren't any clues, just dive down and collect a chest or two, surface, open it. If it’s in, you win. If it’s not, you go down again until the challenge has been won one way or another.
(All 6 nod as they warm up slightly as Akito raises an arm)
Akito: As soon as I drop my arm, you can dive. So ready….
(Tense moment…)
Akito: (drops arm) GO!
(The group disperses, as they dive down, where the chests are scattered, and people begin grabbing. First to surface with a chest is Duo, and opens it…but finds it empty. He shrugs and goes back down.)
(Despite what Akito says, one person has a good advantage in this, as Gohan’s underwater breathing and strength allows him to grab him altogether 4 chests before he surfaces. Almost everyone else has just got one, although Julia has got 2. Gohan however surfaces last.)
(As Duo comes up a second time, no-one has managed to get it. Gohan surfaces and opens the four chests one at a time. None in, and he goes back down.)
(Sakura comes up, breathing hard…her’s comes up empty. Shinji also fails. Duo fails with his second attempt. Julia dives down after failing with the two she got, as Tenchi goes up with two as well…but also fails. As they dive down…)
(Gohan pops up after grabbing three more, taking advantage of everyone diving up…and in the second one…is the bracelet. Gohan breathes a huge breath, of exhaustion and of relief, he has won immunity.)
(Everyone else pops up…but then realise it’s over. A few groan, a few cough out water, as Akito gets to them and helps the more tired ones back onto the raft.)
Akito: Well…as recently pasted away Kenny Wolthenstome said, they think it’s all over, it is now. Gohan, you have won immunity, and you survive another three days, whilst the rest of you have to ponder what will happen. Let’s head you back to the mainland, and I’ll see you tomorrow night at Tribal Council.
(Gohan gets some congratulations, mainly from Sakura and Julia, but most of the group are either too tired or disappointed to make an effort time. Once again, their prime target has immunity, and a new strategy has to be made…)

(Time, 4.03pm.)
(With Gohan winning immunity, the last remaining member of Helang, Sakura Avalon, has to be considering that it may be her exit at Tribal Council.)
Sakura: Well…I tried, I haven’t collapsed yet, but the ruins of me are starting to fall. If it wasn’t for Gohan, I dunno if I’d even want to be here now. Tired, hungry, and missing my family…
(Sakura sits down, and sobs slightly)
Sakura: Li…Madison…why couldn’t I see you some more…
Gohan: Hey, hey…
Sakura: (wipes her tears) I’m sorry…I guess I’m getting really homesick now. I’m not too good at feeling sorry for myself…maybe it would be better if I was voted off next…
Gohan: Do you think they’d want that?
Sakura: (thinking) No…they’d want me to try hard and keep going…I’m going to keep going Gohan, as long as I’m still here…
Gohan: That’s the spirited Sakura-chan I know!
(Sakura smiles and Gohan offers her a hand. She takes it and they go back to camp. Although Sakura’s future is uncertain, there are problems in the former Ulah camp as well…)
Duo: Damn…I thought I could have won that with some food in me, but the challenge was based on luck…and I didn’t get it.
Shinji: Gohan definitely needs luck on his side…and he sure as heck got it.
Tenchi: Oh well…he knows he needs to win every single one, he’s making sure that happens.
Julia: I’ll start cooking the rice…
(Julia begins cooking, as the rice pops up the earlier problem. People are starting to be suspicious of each other, however, one suspect out of the 6 becomes established whilst he isn’t in earshot…)
Tenchi: You think Gohan may have taken it…
Shinji: Maybe. He has the highest metabolism, and although he denies it, he does seem to be the one struggling most because of lack of food.
Duo: He has a lot of muscle, that means he needs the food to sustain his muscle mass.
All three: Mmmm…
(However, where Sakura and Gohan are)
Sakura: Hey, do you think that one of them stole the rice?
(washing a dish)
Gohan: Yeah….although I wouldn’t be too surprise if they suspected me.
Sakura: Huh? Why…you didn’t did you?
Gohan: Of course not, but they know that I eat more than anyone else here back home so I got to be the lead suspect. For all I know, the rice was washed away, but I didn’t steal it, Saiyan’s honour.
Sakura: I believe you…I sure as heck didn’t steal it either, captor’s honour.
Gohan: Yeah.
Sakura/Gohan: Hmmm…
(And finally)
Julia: There’s a lot of murmuring here….

(The group enjoy a small limited rice meal, although they are surprised that Duo takes a bit because of his rather large breakfast earlier. People are becoming more suspicious of each other, and Julia also has her own say in the matter…)

Tenchi: I guess watching Sasami do this all the time has made me more housewife material than I thought…
Julia: Yeah…(looks behind her, where Gohan is splitting some wood for a fire.)…now Tenchi, do you think someone stole that rice, because the amount we’ve got is not enough.
Tenchi: I don’t think it’s washed away now you say.
Julia: So…
Tenchi: I didn’t.
Julia: Neither did I.
Tenchi: Well…maybe Gohan…
Julia: I’m not so sure….
Tenchi: Huh?
Julia: Well, I have a theory, but I’ll wait and see…
Tenchi: (smiles) You go on about when me and Tenchi have these secret meetings, but you and your theories as just as bad….
Julia: (smiles) True…(kisses Tenchi on the cheek, shutting him up for the moment), but hopefully, I’m wrong…why would one of our own do this…
Tenchi: Well, there’s nothing wrong with your figure anyway…
Julia: (smacks him) Clean up!

(Later that night…)
(Night vision is on, but we can’t see what is going on clearly…)
(Sounds of someone rustling….)
Male voice in a whisper: Where is it? (a bit more shuffling) Aaahhh….there….
(More scuffling as the person returns to camp, the hammock moves and then…nothing.)

(Day 32, 7.45am.)
(The group are anxious as always, the day before a tribal council. With the group now 6, all of them have become accustomed to watching the sunrise on the island, no matter how tired they are. As the group get up, exhausted in part, and breakfast is on the go with Shinji on the helm…and double-checking the rice…it is mainly a quiet atmosphere.)
Shinji: (to himself as the others do their various chore) No rice missing…although last night…I’m sure I heard someone move past me…well, they do it all the time for a late toilet break, but I think we’re all getting more and more suspicious and paranoid as the chance to win the money gets one step closer.
(Shot as Sakura washes Gohan’s hair in the sea, Julia, Duo and Tenchi collecting some firewood, as no-one has decided to go out for some fish, tiredness and weak bodies now finally starting to kick in)
Julia: Sorry guys, I don’t think anyone is up for it tonight. Not even Gohan.
Tenchi: I think now the depression sinks in knowing that we’re going to lose another one. It’s like we are starting to close…yet at time, it’s like we are drifting further apart by the second.
Duo: I agree…hey, how was the rice today?
Julia: Shinji checked it and said it was fine…
Duo: …unless he was the one stealing it.
Tenchi: (surprised) Huh?
Duo: I don’t think any of us have considered Shinji as a serious threat. However, he seems to be the one thinking and planning a lot. Maybe he did it to weaken us some more. He knows that in terms of athleticism, he is the worst. He needs every angle to win this now.
Julia: Actually…(thinks)…think about it, I’m sure I heard something outside the hammock the other night…I woke up, and everyone was in the tent…he’d have the best opportunity because he always sleeps outside!
Tenchi: Guys, let’s not go to conclusions yet. We’ll just ask Shinji if he’s knows anything about it.
Duo: He could have hid it whilst cooking…he’s usually the chef, he could have taken some whilst we weren’t looking.
Tenchi: I think we are starting to get a little para…
Julia/Duo: SHINJI! (run off to talk to the Eva warrior, leaving Tenchi on his own.)
Tenchi: …(sweatdrops)…noid.
(As Julia and Duo begin to possibly do a bit more grilling than Shinji could, Gohan and Sakura reflect on their chances…particular tonight, with one winning immunity and one not.)
Gohan: Aahhh…I though you said Madison was the stylist in Reedington…
Sakura: Hey, I’m a fast learner…I had to be in my line of work.
Gohan: Makes two of us…but do you think you can survive tonight?
Sakura: Well…(hears some commotion)…actually, I think I just heard a saving grace.
(Both turn to see Shinji looking slighty scared, as Tenchi shakes his head, and Julia plays the nice and nasty routine…you guess which one is which…^_^)
Shinji: But I didn’t!
Julia: No-one is saying you did, but it does seem you have the best opportunities to say the least…it is a bit suspicious.
Duo: Come on Shinji, the worst we can do is vote you off….why did you do it?
Shinji: (rare anger) I DIDN’T DO IT! LAST NIGHT I WAS IN MY HAMMOCK SLEEPING AND I FELT SOMEONE GO PAST IT…MAYBE THAT’S WHO IT WAS…AND THE NIGHT BEFORE, I WAS SLEEPING THERE AS WELL!
Duo: But you could have easily slipped out of it, and stole and hidden the rice, and then slipped back in. No-one sees you outside, because we’re all in the tent. That’s…
Gohan: (stepping into view and between the two) Break it up guys…
(Shinji, looking calmer but still with a panicked look in his eyes, backs off as Duo also calms down. The judge, Sakura, steps up.)
Sakura: O.K, what’s going on?
Tenchi: Well, Duo and Julia seem to think that Shinji was the one stealing all the rice.
Gohan: You mean I’m off the hook…(sarcastic)…bravo.
Duo: Huh? How did you know…
Gohan: I didn’t…(smiles)…I do now though.
Julia: O.K, Gohan, we thought you’d probably need it more because of your metabolism…(realising her tone and catches herself)…oh, sorry guys…I don’t want to turn into another Chun.
(Sakura puts an arm around her ‘mother’ of the island as the 3 guys remain talking)
Shinji: But I didn’t do it!
Tenchi: I agree with Duo that you could easily have the best chances to do it…
(Shinji is silent)
Tenchi: …but as no-one has seen the rice, or even seen Shinji take the rice, he is innocent until proven guilty. (to Duo) Have you searched the hammock?
Duo: (sighs) Of course…and it isn’t there…but that would be too obvious.
Tenchi: Maybe…but survivor makes people do stupid things…but for the moment, we need to calm down and remain clear. With a Council coming up, the last thing we need is accusations and arguments.
(The three guys nod and separate. Gohan goes to check up on the girls, and the apparent Duo and Shinji friendship seems to be at an end.)
(Shinji: I do not steal. I can’t believe that they excused me of that, and Duo of all people…he was the one I clicked with, despite our different personalities…now, it seems he has been caught with Chun’s genes, and made him a bit more obsessive and obnoxious. I DO NOT STEAL.)

(Breakfast as you can guess was a bit muted, Julia nearly fainting and being sick after her own lack of character, however, they know they have to be ready for Tribal Council so for the remaining few hours, they have a bit of a rest and relaxation. However, the thoughts of what happened earlier, and what will happen tonight weighs heavily on their minds.)
(Shot as Sakura and Julia sunbathe. Gohan is busy getting the water as Tenchi and Duo swim. Shinji is back at camp, cleaning up, and obviously feeling a bit of a recluse. Because of this, Sakura may have a lifeline.)
Sakura: How sure are you that Shinji took the rice?
Julia: (sighs) To be honest, I’m not that sure. Shinji wouldn’t do that, I don’t think he’d have an advantage if the rice went, he’d be as weak as we are.
Sakura: Maybe he ate it in the night.
Julia: Cold? I doubt it. Anyway, if he tried to cook it, one of us would have woke up from the smoke or from the scent. I don’t think Shinji is that stupid.
Sakura: True…(shyly)…er, Julia…oko-san…
Julia: Huh? (realises what Sakura called her) You called me ‘mother’…
Sakura: You have been our mother haven’t you here…
Julia: (smiles) I guess…with us two girls left, I guess I see people like that, although you’ve been like a sister to me more than a daughter.
Sakura: Thank you…but…well…
Julia: (puts a hand on her shoulder) You want to know if you’re going tonight…
(Sakura nods)
Julia: (sighs) If you had said that a week ago, the answer would be yes. However, recent events…no-one seems trust worthy now….you and Gohan are the only ones I’d generally trust right at this moment…
Sakura: Really?
Julia: Yeah…and to be honest, I wouldn’t want to lose you now, and as Gohan is immune…maybe I should do some backstabbing of my own.
(As Sakura ponders Julia’s words, Gohan returns with the water. With Shinji on his own, he decided to make his own investigation…)
Gohan: Shinji? You all right…
Shinji: Am I all right…. The tribe has practically accused me of stealing, I’ll probably be kicked off for doing something I didn’t do…and you ask if I’m alright?
Gohan: Jeez…sorry!
Shinji: (less angry) No, sorry Gohan…it’s not your fault. (smiles) It never is now is it…
Gohan: I just want to tell you something. Look at me in the eyes.
Shinji: Huh? Why…
Gohan: Just do it.
(Shinji complies…after all, Gohan is a tad stronger than he is…)
Gohan: Now, say to me, direct to my eyes, that you didn’t take the rice.
(There is a moment of silence, then…)
Shinji: I….did…not…take…the….rice.
Gohan: Good. My turn.
(Another pause)
Gohan: I…did…not…take..the…rice…
(Both look down)
Gohan: I believe you.
Shinji: Thank you. I believe you as well.
Gohan: That leaves us with four other people.
Shinji: Have you considered Sakura as a suspect?
Gohan: Don’t even joke about that…(looks at him)…it wasn’t her. She uses me like an electric blanket at night and sleeps like a log. Trust me.
Shinji: O.K. Which leaves three….
(Gohan and Shinji rather unlikely partnership and scheming leaves Duo and Tenchi to talk about Council.)
Duo: Well, what do you think?
Tenchi: My head says Sakura…my heart says Shinji.
Duo: Didn’t you two work together to get Chun off…
Tenchi: Duo, you’ve been on this island for over a month. How long have alliances lasted here so far?
Duo: (pauses) ….that’s a good point.
Tenchi: The thing is, we are still 3 to 2 up on Gohan and Sakura, so if we vote off Shinji, we’re still a 3 to 2 up.
Duo: (smiles) Yeah…let’s just hope Gohan doesn’t keep winning immunity.
Tenchi: Yeah…

(7.00pm, before the trek to Council.)
(Shinji, unaware of the group thinking about kicking him off, is currently just lying in the hammock, knowing that he is in trouble.)
(Meanwhile…)
Duo: I’ll go get some firewood before we go so that we can be nice and warm when we come back.
Tenchi: Sure.
Julia: Are you sure you want to go for Shinji?
Tenchi: (sighs) Yeah. I still not sure over the rice issue...but he does look like he’s depressed at least, I think getting this far is a victory for him.
Julia: Yeah. I hate to be forced to vote for Sakura anyway.
Duo: And we still have the advantage anyway. So, I’ll see you in a second.
(Duo runs off, when they realise something)
Julia: But what happens if Sakura, Gohan and Shinji vote for one of us…
Tenchi: (calms her down) It won’t matter, Shinji still has more past votes than anyone here.
Julia: Oh yeah. Well, I guess we should…
(A scream off screen: ARGH!)
Tenchi: Huh? Was that…
Julia: …Gohan?
(Julia and Tenchi surprised, run to see Sakura kneeling down, helping Gohan up.)
Sakura: Hey honey, are you O.K?
Gohan: (holding his head) Oh yeah…I’m O.K.
(Sakura looks a bit white, as Gohan removes his hand, where some blood is flowing from his eyebrow)
Tenchi: (rushing) Hey…are you all right?
Gohan: (smiling) It’s O.K. I just slipped racing Sakura here, and fell on a rock head first…
Julia: That could kill someone…
Gohan: …not with a Super Saiyan’s head. (looks below him, where the rock has been crushed…^_^)
Tenchi: Despite everything, we’d better get that cleaned up before it gets infected.
(The 3 of them go into the camp, where they look for some bandages and disinfectant…)
Sakura: Gohan, you got to look your best before being viciously eliminated…oh wait, you’re immune aren’t you. (snaps her fingers) Darn.
Gohan: Hey, no skin off my back..rather off my head…(slips again, and smashes his elbow through a loose piece of wood on the camp bench)…this is getting a habit now. O.K, where are….
(All stop. They are stunned by something….)
Sakura: No….way…
Julia: I don’t believe it.
Tenchi: (slightly angry) This changes everything.

(The group meet outside and Gohan is bandaged up. Duo is back, and the group now head to Tribal Council. Duo is surprised by Gohan’s cut, but is even more surprised by Tenchi’s stern look. But for now, the group is silent as they head into the abyss that is Tribal Council.)
(Shinji rings the gong, as the last 6 enter the flame ridden hall as Akito looks on. The group is quiet, knowing another one is gone.)
Akito: Welcome to another step closer to the end…or to disaster. Before we begin, we’d like to welcome back the jury, and a third member, Miss Chun-Li Zang.
(Shot of the Jury as Akane and Nene have sunglasses on. Their T-Shirts read ‘We’ll be back’. Chun seems a lot happier than before and has a sweet smile on her face, and looks at Sakura, her face saying the words ‘I’m sorry.’)
Akito: Such forlorn looks, as we know another one goes. So now…
Sakura: Er Akito-san?
Akito: Yes Sakura?
Sakura: I think I speak for all the group if we just got on with it tonight if you don’t mind.
Akito: (nods) Very well. Would you like to go up first?
(As they are not beating around the bush, Sakura goes and hurriedly writes her vote down. Next up is Julia, who does the same. Duo is third, and his vote is shown. ‘SHINJI.’)
Duo: We’ve been through some scrapes, but you really don’t want to be here now. All I can say…is sorry man.
(Gohan is next, immunity feeling good as he writes it down, and the three girls seem discussive about his bandage. Next is Tenchi, also writing it down quickly. Finally, Shinji. Votes ‘DUO.’)
Shinji: We started this game together, but it seems the game part has gone. If I go tonight, this is just saying that ‘Thanks…but no thanks.’
(Shinji places his vote down, and Akito gets the jar.)
Akito: I’ll count the votes.
(He does so, and looks on. He draws the first one.)
Akito: I’ll just remind you in an event of a tie, past votes will count. So, without further ado.
(Shows first vote ‘DUO’)
Akito: Duo.
(Duo looks remotely worried.)
Akito: (next vote ‘SHINJI’) Shinji.
(Shinji shakes his head.)
(The jury again start talking, as Akito draws the third vote. Now, Arp said in a review about the last chapter being Yukina’s entry into Nadesico…the things are starting to happen. If last chap was Yukina, this chap is Skomo’s death.)
Akito: (turns it slowly) Duo.
(Duo now looking panicky, perhaps thinking that 3 votes are for him…but it won’t matter..)
Akito: (next vote) Duo.
(Duo with a look of fear. Shinji starting to get hope.)
Akito: The fourth vote…(pauses) and 11th person off the island…(turns it.)…is Duo Maxwell.
(Duo is stunned. On the bench, Chun shakes her head, whilst Akane and Nene breath a sigh of relief.)
Akito: The final vote doesn’t matter…but for interest, it also was for Duo. So 5 to 1, Mr Maxwell, could you please get your torch?
(Duo, shaken, leaves the bench, and grabs his torch. He goes up to Akito.)
Akito: Duo, as you know, fire represents your life on this island, well, the time on this island is now over, so could you please extinguish your flame?
(Duo does, still stunned)
Akito: The tribe has spoken Duo, could you please leave?
(Duo turns into the jungle, not a word to anyone, just a shake of the head.)
Akito: So, a mass turnaround here, and we are down to 5. Congratulations for getting this far, so please return your torches, and I’ll see you tomorrow.
(All do quite calmly, but as they do, Tenchi grabs something from his pocket…)

(Flashback to scene where Gohan was cut)
Sakura: No….way…
Julia: I don’t believe it.
Tenchi: (slightly angry) This changes everything.
(Tenchi grabs what was hidden under the crack…the missing bag of rice…inside a hidden bag where inside, includes Duo’s luxury item, a comb marked DM.)
Gohan: He did this…
Julia: Now that I think about it…he won the breakfast right. Well, he knew that he wouldn’t need the rice, so by weakening us and strengthening himself, he would have the advantage going into immunity.
Tenchi: That…I don’t believe…
Duo(distant): Hey, where’s everyone….
Tenchi: Damn. (puts the rice in his pocket) Everyone, on principle, you know what to do.
(All nod, pretty surprised and shocked. They leave as Duo comes up)
Duo: Hey, Gohan, how’d ya cut yourself…

(Duo’s confessional)
Duo: (sighs) Something tells me I was found out. It was a plan…which failed. I thought I could win immunity with my strength up and weakening them slightly, however, it obviously somehow backfired.
(Sakura’s vote ‘DUO.’)
Sakura: Why, that’s all I ask?
Duo: I got quite far, but not far enough. Being nice and being nasty are two different strategies. Being nice got me this far, being nasty got me kicked out.
(Julia’s vote, ‘DUO’)
Julia: I had a feeling it was you, but I had doubts when with the Shinji evidence coming up. However, until that point, you played the game well, and it’s a shame to resort to a dirty trick that didn’t work.
Duo: I’ll apologise to everyone here and now, and say that I had a blast. Shinji, I’m really sorry I tried to put the blame onto you. Gohan, Sakura, you two kids keep blasting on, you can still win this. Tenchi, Julia, good luck to you guys, any one of you could win this and deserve to.

Gohan: You saved me once…but your own mistakes aren’t going to save you.
Duo: I think Hilde will kill me for not winning the money now…what am I gonna do now for retirement?

Tenchi: Duo, you played the game with honor and respect. However, taking the rice, one move like that, ended that honor and respect. I hope tonight will teach you that you don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

(Duo was quite popular when he started the game, making a decent comrade out of Shinji, and a good friendship with Chun. Able around the camp and always good for a laugh. After the merge that trend seemed to continue. However, after Chun left, Duo had serious thoughts about changing his strategy. His reward win made him plan to weaken the others for immunity. Alas, that plan was foiled when Gohan won it, and even more when they found the rice in his bag. This reason alone, and his blaming of Shinji, was why he was kicked out.)

AAVGS 2: SURVIVE AT THE DUELIST KINGDOM…
The two tribes have to survive treacherous forest, jungle, mountain, wilderness and sea in this huge off coast island. The two tribes, the Tsunami Tribe and the Locus Tribe will be living here for over a month or so. However, each contesant has been picked specifically from their interview forms and our psychologist, a certain Miss Fressange, has chosen these 16, to be in for a chance of winning 1 million pounds.
Tsunami Tribe:
Ukyo Kounji (Ranma ½): A high spirited, friendly and personality wise, lovely young lady, who has experienced problems in her life, wants to make a new beginning on the island. She has the personality to win people over, but can she keep them?
Shinobu Maehara (Love Hina): This adorable young scamp is an established cook and can make something out of nothing. Her look will certainly win people over, however, her shyness and nervousness may be a huge factor if she wants to stay or go.
Ami Mizuno (Sailor Moon): The Nene of AAVGS2, intelligence is her way, and she’ll think of anything and everything. She has a pleasant personality though, and doesn’t make her way to look snobby. However, can she tough it out?
Joey Wheeler (Yu-Gi-Oh) Can be an idiot at times, however, he burns with passion and responsibility. A reason to win, which he has got, he’ll take no cost to try and win this competition…but not for his sake.
Ashitaka: (Princess Mononoke) From the depths, this lone warrior has a responsibility to Iron Town, and to the forest. Winning this could help both. His strength, determination and knowing who is good are his best traits for this competition.
Mai Valentine (Yu-Gi-Oh) Two YGO contestants because of a push from the management. Mai is a determined woman, always sets her goals outright. However, she can be seen as snobby for that…but at other times, she is a really nice person. Let’s see which one emerges…
Mackey Stingray: (Bubblegum Crisis 2040) Seeing Nene compete made Mackey want to try out. He’s had a lot of trauma in his life, and to him, this could be seen as a vacation. Good at making and fixing things, and a pleasant boy altogether.
Keichi Morisato: (Oh My Goddess) Getting away from three Goddesses? He must be mad. Seriously, he wants to win to prove himself to Belldandy…and probably to prove he isn’t a loser. Just hope that Urd doesn’t catch him…
(Locus Tribe)
Hikari Horaki (Neon Genesis Evangelion) Very cute girl who whilst not physically strong, makes up for it in leadership and personality. This class representative is also a good cook and always thinks things out before doing anything. Very caring.
Ruri Hoshino (Nadesico): As far as looks go, she’s in Shinobu’s league as the ultra-kawaii one. However, similarities end there. She’ll speak her mind, and not hesitate to reprimand people who screw up. However, underneath that, she is a thinker, and a sweet girl who never forgets anything good that people do for her.
Felicia (Darkstalkers): The cat-girl fighter decides to help put DS on the map after Bulleta’s poor performance in AAVGS. This girl however is probably the closest to a human because of a sweet, caring personality, backed up with useful strength and tools (such as her claws.)
Sakura Kasunago: (Street Fighter) The Ryu Otaku tries another opportunity to impress her idol by competing in AAVGS2. A bubbly personality which can derive on annoying, her ability to learn things quickly may be her saving grace.
Krillian: (DBZ) The husband of an android needs money for his family…and he could get it. As a DBZ character, he is gifted with extraordinary strength and ability, which could be a positive…or a negative.
Cody Hida: (Digimon 02): The young contestant on the island, Cody will have a lot of work to do to show his strength. Strong of will and of morales, that could be good on a Survivor…but also very bad.
Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi): His mysterious warrior certainly likes money…but like Joey, may also have a reason for winning it. His strength and ability will certainly be helpful, but will he get homesick or lovesick whilst there?
Kyosuke Kasuga (Kimagure Orange Road): Telepathic man of the Kasuga blood, his abilities could be a help AND a hindrance…plus he is a tiny little bit perverted…that will work against him unless he’s careful…
So, that’s the two tribes. Next chapter, I’ll introduce the characters to Poke-vivor: Galatcia’s Last Stand.
