We watch as Sora, with her hair in a mess, walks into the kitchen, still wearing her nightclothes... a white t-shirt and a pair of yellow shorts. She seems Sasami, dressed in her casual kimono, preparing breakfast on the stove. Sora: (smelling the food) Mmmmm... that smells good. Sasami: (smiling) Oh, good morning Sora! You’re sure up bright and early. Sora: Not as early as you though. Why are you cooking breakfast this early? Sasami: I’m used to it. Back at home, I have to cook for Tenchi, Ayeka, Ryoko, and everyone else. Sora: (a little surprised) Isn’t that child labor? I thought that was illegal. Sasami: They don’t force me to do it... it’s just that they’ve gotten so used to my cooking that they can’t stand to be without it. Sora: (to herself) Which makes me wonder if they’re going crazy right now. (to Sasami) Isn’t eleven a little too young to be a housekeeper? Sasami: (smiles) Sora, can you keep a secret? Sora: Depends on what it is. Sasami: It’s about me. I’m really much older than you think. Sora: (curiously) Really? Okay, just how old are you? Sasami whispers her answer back to Sora. Sora’s eyes light up in surprise once again. Sora: No way! Sasami: (giggles) Nope, I’m that old. Sora: How do you do it? Sasami: (winks) It’s a Juraian secret. I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. Sora: Honestly Sasami, I can keep a secret! I won’t tell anyone about your age! And I definitely won’t tell anyone else the secret of your youth. Misty: (interrupting) What secret of youth? Sora and Sasami turn to see Misty, dressed in her regular clothes, standing about ten feet away from them with her hands on her hips. Sasami: Oh, good morning Misty! Sora and I were just talking about the mysterious Fountain of Youth. Sora: Of course, they’re just stories. I’m pretty sure the fountain doesn’t really exist. Misty: You expect me to believe that? Misty gives Sora an evil glare. Sasami notices this and reacts immediately. Sasami: Come on you two! The last thing I need is both of you fighting. Sora: (sighs) If you have to know, Misty, Sasami and I were just discussing a few personal secrets. Misty: Then what was that secret of youth you guys were talking about? Sora: (sighs) Do you want me to tell her? Sasami: No, I’ll do it. Sasami walks over to Misty and whispers to her. Misty reacts to it the same way that Sora did. Misty: No way! You can’t be that old! Sora: I couldn’t believe it, either. I was going to ask her how she did it, but she won’t tell me. Sasami: I’ll tell you guys, if you want. But you’ll have to do one thing for me first. Sora and Misty: What’s that? Sasami: Help cook breakfast, that’s what! Sora and Misty giggle. Sora goes to work on preparing some eggs while Misty works on cooking some pancakes. Sasami: (CC) That was a close call. I don’t want this rivalry to get out of hand. I especially feel worried for Misty, because she’s the one who has the grudge, not Sora. Sora: (CC) I’m glad that Sasami was there. She was able to do what I’ve been struggling to since yesterday... to try and become friends with Misty. Although I’m not how sure how long Misty and I will be on good terms, this is a start. Misty: (CC) There’s something fishy about Sora, but I can’t quite place my finger on it. Something tells me that I’d better keep a close eye on her. A little later on in the day, the housemates are in various places around the mansion. All of a sudden, the doorbell rings. Chelsea goes to answer it. Chelsea: (yelling) I’ve got it! (opens the door) Hello! Mimi: Sorry I’m late... but you wouldn’t believe the selection of clothes they have at the local mall. Um... am I in the right place? The camera gets a good shot of Mimi, moving from her feet up to her face. She’s has a backpack and a suitcase in each hand. Chelsea notices this and offers Mimi a hand. Chelsea: Well, if you’re Mimi, then I guess so. Let me take one of those suitcases for you. Mimi: (hands one to Chelsea) Thanks. Upon grabbing, Chelsea and the suitcase drop to the floor. Chelsea: Yow! What do you have in here? Mimi: My clothes of course. By the way, how did you know my name was Mimi? Chelsea: (picking herself up) We were told that you would be arriving a little late. My name’s Chelsea. Pleased to meet you. Mimi: Pleased to meet you, Chelsea. Misty, Kari, and Duplica appear in the hallway, as they see Chelsea and Mimi by the front door. Duplica: Chelsea! What was that weird noise? Chelsea: This suitcase was a little heavier than I thought. Mimi: (noticing Kari) Kari! Kari: Mimi! The two girls run over and hug each other. Mimi: Kari! It’s nice to see you again. Kari: You too Mimi. What happened? Why are you so late? Mimi: My connecting flight from Hawaii to Japan was cancelled because of bad weather, so I had to wait ten hours for another flight! Kari: Oh, you must be tired. Mimi: Not really. I got a lot of sleep while I was waiting. Duplica: (walks up to Mimi) Um, hello. Mimi: Oh, I’m sorry. I was so busy talking to Kari that I forgot about you guys. Duplica: I’m Duplica. (points to Misty) And the girl over there with the red hair is Misty. Mimi walks over to Misty and offers a friendly handshake. Mimi: I’m Mimi. Nice to meet you, Misty. Misty gives Mimi one look and walks away. Mimi: What’s her problem? Duplica: Trust me... you don’t want to know. Chelsea: Let’s just say it has something to do with the fact that she’s from ‘Pokémon.’ Kari: Misty has something against us, Mimi. I would know... I got stuck as her roommate. Mimi: It can’t be that bad, can it? As Misty continues to make her way away from the group, Sora runs past her. Sora: Mimi? Mimi: Sora! Misty just shakes her head in disgust as Sora and Mimi hug. She then walks off. Misty: (VO) I hate her first off because she’s from ‘Digimon.’ What makes her even more unlikable is that she’s taken a big city New York accent and mixed it with that annoying little valley girl accent! Sora: Mimi! It’s been so long. Mimi: I know. Sora: First, let’s get your bags upstairs. Then we’ll talk. Sora and Mimi walk up the stairs alone, as Kari, Chelsea, and Duplica watch. Chelsea: Maybe we should help them. Duplica: Yeah. Kari: Don’t worry about those two. They’re good friends. They’ll be fine. As Sora and Mimi make their way to the bedrooms... Mimi: Wait, who’s my roommate? Kari said she got stuck with that Digimon hater. Sora: (smiles) Yeah, Misty seems like she’s got a screw loose. Mimi: More like it’s missing... Sora: Anyway, I happen to be your roommate. Mimi: No way! Did I hear that right? Sora: Yep, when we drew roommates last night, it turned out that we would share a room. Mimi: That’s great! Sora: I know. Now we’ll have a lot of time to catch up. The two smile as Sora shows Mimi to their bedroom... Layla: (VO) When we return... Madison: (CC) Like unbelievable! Mimi’s got the most fashionable hairstyle I’ve ever seen! Layla: (VO) Mimi quickly makes a lot of friends... especially Madison. Unfortunately, that worries some people... Sakura: (CC) I’m trying to find out the reasoning behind this sudden alliance between Mimi and my best friend Madison. A little help here! Meilin: (CC) I’m tired of seeing Miss New York over there yapping and yapping. Doesn’t she have an off button or something? Layla: (VO) And a little later, the residents compete in their first prize challenge... Casey: I can’t find it Chelsea! Chelsea: (pulls something out from behind the dresser) I think I’ve got it! Nikki: I can’t find the other piece! Meilin: What do you mean? The clue points to this room! It’s gotta be here! Layla: (VO) That’s all when Roomies returns... * * * * * * * * * * Layla: (VO) Mimi, the sixteenth and final resident, arrived earlier this morning. Believe it or not, she’s already making herself feel right at home. Let’s tune it and see what’s happening... All of the sixteen residents, with the exception of Sora and Mimi, are gathered around the dining table. They seem to be waiting for them to arrive. Finally, the two Digidestined ladies make their entrance. Sora: Everybody, I’d like you to meet Mimi. Mimi: Hi! There are some mixed reactions from the group... most of them coming from those who didn’t greet her at the door earlier. Yolei and Madison seem to be the most excited. Then Yolei notices the look on Misty’s face. Yolei: (VO) Misty can hate all she wants. As long as she doesn’t say anything that’ll hurt Mimi’s feelings, then she can say whatever she wants. Yolei: Mimi! You made it! Mimi: Of course I did, Yolei. Did you think I’d give up my chance for a million dollars that easily? Yolei: No way, you’d never do that. Madison: (runs up to Mimi) Like, you’re hair is so totally awesome. Mimi: Thanks... um... Madison: I’m Madison. (sticks out her hand to shake it with Mimi) Madison Taylor. Mimi: (does likewise) Mimi Tachikawa. (while shaking hands) I live in New York, but I used to live here in Tokyo. Madison: You mean here in the Readington district? Mimi: No, I was over in Odaiba. Madison: I’ve never been to that part of the city. Mimi: You should see it. It’s great! Sora: Mimi, maybe you should tell them about you know what. Mimi: Huh? Oh, that’s right... I have something for all of us. Mimi pulls out a piece of paper and gives it to Yolei. She reads it aloud. Yolei: It looks like there’s something here called the Confessional Room. In it, you can confess your thoughts about any of your fellow roomies at any time, without anyone else but the studio hearing it. It also says that for everyday you confess something, you add five thousand dollars to your personal jackpot. Sakura: Really? The whole group pulls out one of the house maps and makes their way to the Confessional Room. Sasami, Rita, Nikki, Giselle, and Duplica immediately get into a shouting match over which one of them should go first. Giselle: (VO) I can’t believe this. All I have to do is come in here once a day, tell the camera whose guts I hate, and I add a possible five grand to my pot! Easy as pie! After a while, it is decided that Rita would go in first. While Sasami, Nikki, Giselle, and Duplica wait outside, the others decide to leave and get some things done. They would return to take a look at the room later. Rita: (CC) I really don’t have much to say right now. I just wanted to try this thing out. But since I should be talking about the other residents... I don’t seem to be having a problem with anyone. Sasami is a very nice person, and we spent a couple of hours last night talking. Not counting any of my friends, I trust her the most right now. Meanwhile, in the living room, Mimi seems to be in a conversation with Madison over the different clothing styles of Tokyo and New York. Yolei is also with them, listening in and adding her two cents whenever she felt it appropriate. Madison: (CC) Like unbelievable! Who would have thought that Mimi and I would become good friends so quickly. Especially since we both have good taste in fashion. Mimi’s got the most fashionable hairstyle I’ve ever seen! Mimi: You can find all of the latest fashions downtown. You wouldn’t believe the prices, though. Madison: I’d bet. That ensemble you’re wearing right now must have cost you a couple hundred. Mimi: You’re probably right, but I wouldn’t know. The fashion club paid for the humongous makeover they gave me. Yolei: Why would they give you a makeover? Madison: I agree. You’re the most beautiful teenager I’ve seen in a long time. Mimi: True, but my clothes weren’t exactly fashionable. I used to wear pink from head to toe. Pink was always my favorite color. Madison: I could’ve told you that... just look at your pink hair. Mimi: Yeah... that one still stumps me the most. I did tell them I like pink, but I didn’t expect to get my hair dyed. That’s probably what gets me noticed the most. You’d be lucky if you found someone else on the streets of New York that had pink hair! Yolei: I bet. I guess Americans aren’t in to exotic hairstyles. Mimi: Oh, they’re not into pink hair... but you wouldn’t believe some of the hairstyles I’ve seen. Some of them are just incredible. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you them. Madison: Come on Mimi, tell us! They must be pretty interesting. Yolei: Yeah! The trio continues to converse as Sakura and Meilin look on from outside the room. Meilin: You know, that Mimi girl talks too much. Sakura: So? You should see Chelsea on a good day. The only way you could stop her was to tell her that Zachary was looking at her. Meilin: Maybe, but she’s up to something. I know it. Sakura: She came in a day a late. She’s making up for lost time by trying to get to know as many people as she can. Meilin: Then how come you aren’t in there with Madison introducing yourself? Sakura: (a little hesitant) Um... Meilin: So I see. You have something against Mimi too, right? Sakura: Okay, you got me. I do. Meilin: So what is it? Sakura: I’m not even sure myself. I guess I just feel lonely because Madison is getting along so well with her. Meilin: You know what I think? Sakura: What? Meilin: I think Madison is trying to get Mimi to support her. Sakura: What do you mean? Meilin: Look Avalon, you know that whomever wins the million dollars will be decided by all of the other residents, right? Sakura: Yeah. Meilin: Well, Madison is probably attempting to convince Mimi to vote for her. Sakura: Madison wouldn’t do that. Meilin: Really? Then you obviously haven’t been watching those reality shows lately. Sakura: Well, this is one too you know. Meilin: (smirks) I know. I just want to see how you’d react. Sakura: You mean you’re making all of this alliance stuff up? Meilin: I didn’t say it was true. I just have a hunch, that’s all. I may be right. I may be wrong. It’s up to you to decide which side you’re on. With that, Meilin walks off towards the Confessional Room. Sakura turns her gaze back towards the room, when Madison sees her. Madison: Sakura! Why don’t you come in and join us? Sakura: Oh... sure thing, Madison! Sakura goes in and joins the conversation. Later on, after about half an hour waiting for the four girls in front of her to go, Sasami comes out of the Confessional Room and Meilin goes in. Meilin: (CC) After nearly two days here, I’m already getting a sense of who doesn’t deserve to be here. First is Jun. She obviously isn’t too bright. And whenever I see her, she’s sitting by herself. Sometimes I catch her yelling the name Matt over and over again. Then there’s Misty. She has this grudge against the Digidestined. So who cares? I don’t like your show either! How would you feel if I said that in your face? And of course, there’s Mimi. I’m tired of seeing Miss New York over there yapping and yapping. Doesn’t she have an off button or something? Over in the recreation room, Chelsea, Nikki, and Rita are watching a program on TV. Kari is on the computer, checking her e-mail, while Giselle looks over her shoulder. Kari: (reading an e-mail aloud to herself) I hope you’re having fun. All of us miss you. Don’t forget to keep away from strangers... except the ones in your house, that is. And write to us once in awhile so we know how you’re doing. Otherwise, have fun, and we’ll see you in six weeks! Love, mom and dad. Giselle: Wow... you’re both mommy’s girl and daddy’s little angel, huh? Kari: No offense Giselle, but there must be something else you can do than look over my shoulder. Giselle: (sighs) Yeah, but I need to use the computer. I have e-mail to check too, you know. Kari: I only have fourteen new messages left to check. Giselle: Do you have to check them all now? Kari: Yeah. I’m expecting something from a friend of mine. Giselle: Oh... a secret admirer? Kari: (blushes a little) He’s not my boyfriend. Giselle: That’s what they all say, Kari. But I digress. Go ahead and read the rest of your e-mail. Just make sure that I’m the next one on, okay? Kari: Sure. Chelsea: No fair Kari! You promised me I would get to go next. Kari: Oops, I forgot. Giselle: When did you promise her that? Chelsea: About twenty minutes ago. Rita: No you didn’t! Chelsea: (covers Rita’s mouth and whispers to her) Of course I didn’t. I just want to see how Giselle reacts, that’s all. Nikki: Chelsea, that’s pretty low you know. Chelsea: (under her breath) Shut up. Kari: (giggles) We’re all just playing with you, Giselle. Chelsea didn’t promise anything. You can go next. Giselle: (crosses her arms over her chest) Well, you can forget it. I don’t even know why I deal with you practical jokers. Giselle walks out of the room, to the surprise of the other four. Chelsea: Giselle, come back! I didn’t mean to offend you. Nikki: Well, it looks like you did. Rita: Don’t count on her voting for you in six weeks. Chelsea: Why don’t you two just shut up... Kari stifles another giggle as she turns back to the computer. Meanwhile, Sakura sits quietly in the living room as Mimi, Madison, and Yolei continue to talk into the evening. Sakura: (CC) I’m trying to find out the reasoning behind this sudden alliance between Mimi and my best friend Madison. A little help here! I don’t understand what’s going on! Layla: (VO) When Roomies returns... Yolei: (reading it aloud) The teammates who find their two puzzle pieces will add their names to the drawing in six weeks for this particular prize. Layla: (VO) Finally, the roommates participate in the first Prize Challenge. Unfortunately, a few things go wrong... Casey: I can’t find it Chelsea! Chelsea: (pulls something out from behind the dresser) I think I’ve got it! Nikki: I can’t find the other piece! Meilin: What do you mean? The clue points to this room! It’s gotta be here! Sasami: Yolei stupidly forgot to read something on the paper, and now at least one pair is going to get screwed out of the prize because of her. Misty: Kari, use your head for once and find that stinkin’ puzzle piece! Kari: I don’t see you trying to help at all! Layla: (VO) How will the results of the challenge affect the relationships between the sixteen residents? Find out the answer when Roomies returns... * * * * * * * * * * Day Three Miss McKenzie stands on the front lawn, about two thousand feet from the front door. A wooden table has been set up behind her, with a small puzzle board and eight small white envelopes. Layla: (VO) Welcome back. In a couple of minutes, we’re going to put the sixteen girls to the test in our first official prize challenge. Hidden inside the mansion are sixteen different puzzle pieces. They all fit into this puzzle board, which will reveal the prize that they will be competing for. They’re getting the message right now, so they should be out in a couple of minutes. Just moments ago, in the dining room, we see the sixteen residents gathered around the table. Yolei is pulling out the instructions from the envelope. She places the piece of paper on top of a manila envelope. Yolei: (reading it aloud) This is your first prize challenge. The prize you are competing for, though, is a mystery. To find out what it is, you have to complete this challenge. It involves finding two puzzle pieces, both of which are located somewhere in the house. The teammates who find their two puzzle pieces will add their names to the drawing in six weeks for this particular prize. To begin the challenge, all sixteen residents must meet outside on the front lawn. The group gets outside, and they gather around the table where Miss McKenzie is. Layla: Good morning. I hope you girls all had a good night sleep. I’m glad that all sixteen of you are here and ready to compete. I take it that you’ve already read the instructions, right? Yolei: (nodding affirmatively) Yes, we did. Layla: Well, let me go over a few other things. In each of these eight envelopes you see on the table are clues to finding the puzzle pieces. Why the different colors, you wonder? Well, you see, you’ll be working in pairs. In fact, you’ll be working with your roommate. Misty: What? Meilin: No way! Sora: Okay, I think we’ve said those two words enough to last a lifetime. Sakura: I don’t see any problem with that. Duplica and I know each other well. Layla: Really? Well, we’ll see. This challenge not only involves physical strength, since you’ll be running all over the mansion, but also a little bit of inductive reasoning. Some of the clues are hard to decipher, and you’ll have to figure them out in order to find the puzzle pieces. She hands out the envelopes to each of the respective pairs. Layla: Now, don’t open them until I say so. A ripping sound is heard. Everyone looks over to see that Jun has opened hers. Giselle, her partner, just smacks her forehead in disgust. Giselle: You’re so stupid, you know that? Jun: I’m sorry... I’m just want to get this over with. Layla: That’s okay. But since you’re so eager, let’s get on with it. Once I tell you to open your envelopes, you will have thirty minutes to find your two pieces and return here with them. Remember, only those teams who successfully complete the challenge will be placed in the drawing for this mystery prize. Okay? Everyone nods in agreement. Layla: Okay then... you may open your envelopes now. Good luck to all of you. The teams rip open their envelopes and begin looking over the clues. After about a minute, both the Pink team (Duplica and Sakura) and the Orange team (Yolei and Madison) begin sprinting back towards the house to begin their search. The others eventually follow, one by one, until only the Yellow team (Casey and Chelsea) is left, still trying to figure out their clues. Layla: (to both of them) Ladies, five minutes have elapsed already. My suggestion is that you go on what you already have and start searching. You can figure out the rest of the clues while you’re looking. Casey and Chelsea look at each other, realizing that they’re wasting time, make a run towards the house. Layla: (VO) The eight teams run frantically all over the house, as they look for their puzzle pieces. Twenty-four minutes remaining... shot of the White Team (Sora and Mimi) searching the bookcase in the first floor recreation room. Sora: The clue said that the piece is in a book that takes place during some type of witch trials. Mimi: (looking at one book and throwing it aside) You mean the Salem Witch Trials? Yeah, I learned about them in school. (picks up another book and then tosses it) In the late 1600’s, they would put people on trial if they thought they were witches. They would be stoned to death, or drowned in the river, or burned at the stake... or some other horrible fate. Sora: That’s terrible! Mimi: Yeah. I’m lucky I wasn’t alive at that time. Sora: You seem to know more about this than me... which of these books featured something like that? Mimi: I’m not sure... we’d better keep looking. At the same time, the Blue team (Rita and Sasami) is currently looking under chairs in the dining room. Sasami: The clue said the piece is under one of these chairs. Rita: It’s probably taped down. (feels something under a chair) I think I found it! Rita pulls it out from under the chair, and shows it to Sasami. They both celebrate. Sasami: We’ve got one! Rita: Finally... let’s find the other one. Sasami and Rita look over their paper as they try and figure out where the second piece is. Now only nineteen minutes to go... the Yellow team (Casey and Chelsea) are still running around the house. They are still trying to decipher where their first puzzle piece is. Over in the sauna, the Red team (Misty and Kari) are sweating profusely as they search for their first puzzle piece. Misty: Are you sure you read the clue correctly? Kari: Yes. It said to go to some place that’s hot when someone’s around it. Misty: Maybe you interpreted the clue wrong... Kari: I didn’t! I’m sure that it’s here in the sauna. Misty: If it is, then why haven’t we found it yet? Kari is speechless. Misty: See? I say let’s look at the clues again before we resume our search. Kari: (pulling out the piece of paper with the clues) Fine. As the two look over their clues once again, the Pink team meanwhile is searching for a puzzle piece in the closet by the front door. Duplica: The clue said that it has got to be in one of these jackets. Sakura: Let’s keep looking. If it is, we’re bound to find it. Check all of the pockets. Layla: (VO) Ten minutes have elapsed since the challenge began, and most of the teams are still struggling to find their first puzzle piece. Others, though, are having much better luck... Switch to the second floor recreation room, where the Purple team (Meilin and Nikki) are searching for the second piece. Meilin holds the first in her left hand as she looks on from the doorway. Nikki searches through the sofa. Nikki: I can’t find the other piece! Meilin: What do you mean? The clue points to this room! It’s gotta be here! Nikki: Why don’t you help me find it? Meilin: Because I found the other one, remember? Nikki: I found it! Meilin walks over and sees that Nikki does indeed have the second piece. Meilin: Okay. Let’s get back outside so we can find out what this prize is. More scenes of the teams looking all over the mansion for their puzzle pieces. Now the camera switches to outside, where Miss McKenzie sees Meilin and Nikki running towards her, with both puzzle pieces left. Layla: Done already? Meilin: Yes, Miss McKenzie! We’ve got both pieces. Nikki: I’m amazed we found them so quickly. How much time do we have left? Layla: There’s still sixteen minutes left. Meilin: Wait... we can go back inside and steal someone else’s piece, right? Layla: Yes... it would prevent one team from completing the challenge. Meilin: I’m going back in! Nikki: I don’t think we should. Meilin: Stop being a worrywart! Do you know that the more people who complete this challenge, the worse our chances are at getting the prize! Nikki: Oh... I guess that makes sense. Meilin: So are you with me? Nikki: (with a little hesitation) Sure... Meilin and a reluctant Nikki head back into the house. Meanwhile, the Orange team, with a puzzle piece in hand, are making their way upstairs towards the bedrooms. Madison: It took us fifteen minutes to find the first piece. We’re going to have to work quickly if we want to find the other piece in time. Yolei: Right. In the purple bedroom, Casey and Chelsea are in search for their second piece as well. They have pushed everything in the room aside while searching. Casey: I can’t find it Chelsea! Chelsea: (pulls something out from behind the dresser) I think I’ve got it! Chelsea pulls out a puzzle piece from behind the dresser. Chelsea: I think this is it. Casey: Okay then, we have both of ours. Let’s get back. As they head for the door, Yolei and Madison appear. Madison: Hi Chelsea! Yolei: Gee, you two really tore this place apart. Chelsea: Yeah... it took us awhile to find our piece. Casey: We’d better go... come on Chelsea. Chelsea and Casey run out as Yolei and Madison enter. Madison begins rummaging through the mess as Yolei reads off the last clue again. Yolei: You’ll find the piece you seek in the room belong to someone wearing glasses. Madison: Are you sure it’s not in your room? You wear glasses too. Yolei: Madison, if it was in my room, I probably would have noticed it this morning! Madison: Good point. They continue to search the room. Meanwhile, the Blue team has located their second puzzle piece, and are heading for the front door. Layla: (VO) With eleven minutes to go, Rita and Sasami make their way to the table. Only one other team, Sora and Mimi, are waiting for them. Sora: Good job you two! Sasami: Thanks! Rita: That didn’t end up being too bad. They each hand their piece to Miss McKenzie, who adds it to the board. The foursome then looks at the puzzle. Six of the sixteen pieces are lying in place, but the picture of the prize still can’t be determined. Sasami: Wait... why are there six pieces when there are only four of us? Mimi: Miss McKenzie said that Meilin and Nikki went back in to try and steal someone else’s piece. Rita: You can do that? Sasami: Wait a second... Sasami reaches for the challenge instructions and reads over it. She flips it to the back, and gasps. Sora: What? Sasami: Yolei stupidly forgot to read something on the paper, and now at least one pair is going to get screwed out of the prize because of her. Mimi: Huh? Sora: (CC) It seems that even if their pieces have been retrieved, the team must be present when time runs out to be eligible for the prize. The other six teams continue to scramble for pieces as time starts to wind down. In the laundry room, the Red team is still searching for their second piece. Well, make it Kari is searching for it. Misty: Kari, use your head for once and find that stinkin’ puzzle piece! Kari: I don’t see you trying to help at all! Misty: (VO) Kari isn’t looking hard enough, and we might lose the challenge because of her! Kari: (VO) Misty is really getting on my nerves here. I’m searching as hard as I can, and yet she still yells at me. I can’t find it by myself, and we’re running out of time! Back outside, Layla and the other teams look at the clock. Five minutes to go. End Episode Two Layla: (VO) Next time on Roomies... Misty and Kari come running across the finish line, both completely out of breath. Layla: (VO) The results of the prize challenge are revealed. Thanks to Yolei, one team doesn’t make it... Meilin: (VO) I want to strange Yolei right now! If I would’ve known, I would have stayed and waited for time to expire! Nikki: (VO) I think a lot of people are angry at Yolei, and it’s more than just Meilin and I. Layla: (VO) But thanks to someone else, a second team is left out as well... Madison: (VO) It’s bad enough that Meilin and Nikki are mad at Yolei. They probably think it was fair that we didn’t finish either. Yolei: (CC) Someone took the piece out of our room! I can’t believe someone would stoop that low! Layla: (VO) And from there, the gang moves on to their first physical challenge... Sakura: (CC) We have to stay awake for 48 hours straight to win the challenge. Giselle: (CC) This is the stupidest challenge I’ve ever been a part of. Kari: (struggling to stay awake) Someone please end this already... Layla: (VO) That’s all on the next Roomies... Copyright Date: 5/15/01
