Layla: (VO) Misty’s hatred for the Digimon cast continues... Misty: (VO) I hate her first off because she’s from ‘Digimon.’ What makes her even more unlikable is that she’s taken a big city New York accent and mixed it with that annoying little valley girl accent! Yolei: (VO) Misty can hate all she wants. As long as she doesn’t say anything that’ll hurt Mimi’s feelings, then she can say whatever she wants. Layla: (VO) Despite that, Mimi becomes quite popular with Madison... Madison: (runs up to Mimi) Like, your hair is so totally awesome. Mimi: You can find all of the latest fashions downtown. You wouldn’t believe the prices, though. Madison: I’d bet. That ensemble you’re wearing right now must have cost you a couple hundred. Mimi: Pink was always my favorite color. Madison: I could’ve told you that... just look at your pink hair. Layla: (VO) While Meilin thinks otherwise... Meilin: (CC) I’m tired of seeing Miss New York over there yapping and yapping. Yolei: You’ll find the piece you seek in the room belonging to someone wearing glasses. Madison: Are you sure it’s not in your room? You wear glasses too. The Purple team (Meilin and Nikki), the White team (Sora and Mimi), and the Blue team (Sasami and Rita) have all completed the challenge, but Meilin and Nikki have gone back in to attempt to steal someone else’s puzzle pieces. Out on the front lawn, Sora, Mimi, Sasami, Rita, and Miss McKenzie watch as the Pink team (Duplica and Sakura) run out of the mansion and towards them. Rita: (yelling) Over here you two! As they make their way down towards the others, the Green team (Giselle and Jun) comes out of the mansion. Duplica: (CC) I didn’t think we were going to make it. It took us longer than we thought. With the arrival of those two teams, the number of recovered puzzle pieces is now up to ten, as the gang attempts to guess what their prize is. Mimi: Is that a screen of some sort? Nikki: Maybe it’s a telescope. Sasami: It might be a frying pan. Sakura: I think it’s a flashlight. Meilin: I think you need your eyes examined... that looks nothing like a flashlight. Back inside in the laundry room, the Red team (Misty and Kari) are still in search of their second puzzle piece, as time continues to tick away. Kari: (opening a box of soap) Maybe the other piece is in here. Misty: (annoyed) Who would be stupid enough to hide a puzzle piece in... Kari: (pulling a puzzle piece out) I got it! Misty: (with a surprised look on her face) No way! Kari: (winks) Way. We’d better get a move on... we’re almost out of time. The duo runs out of the room and towards the front door. Upstairs, Nikki is frantically searching for Meilin. Nikki: Meilin! Where are you? We’ve got to get back! Nikki runs into the purple bedroom, where the Orange team (Yolei and Madison) are still searching for their second puzzle piece. Yolei: Why isn’t it here? Madison: (in a panic) We’ve got to stay calm. Maybe we’ve overlooked it. Yolei: That can’t be! We searched this room from top to bottom! We’ll be lucky if Nikki and Meilin find out we did this. Nikki: (who had been standing there the whole time) What have you done to our room? Madison: Sorry about the mess, but we’ve searched high and low for our puzzle piece and we still can’t find it. Nikki: (putting her hands on her hips) Have you ever thought that the piece might not be here? Yolei: Well... Madison: Never mind that... we’re almost out of time! Yolei: But what are we going to do? We only have one puzzle piece! Madison: (sadly sighs) As much as it hurts me to say it. we’re going to have to accept failure. Nikki: By the way... have either of you seen Meilin? I can’t find her. Yolei: Nope. Madison: I haven’t seen her since the challenge started. Back outside, Miss McKenzie looks at her watch as the others look towards the mansion. Layla: Ninety seconds to go... Just then, Casey and Chelsea come running out of the mansion and towards the group. Casey: Let’s go! Chelsea: We’ve got to hurry! Sakura: (yelling) Hurry up Chelsea! You’ve only got about a minute! Duplica: You too Casey! Misty and Kari follow just seconds after them, as they head back towards the front gate. Inside, Yolei, Madison, and Nikki sprint for the front door. They see Meilin coming out of the living room as Madison reaches for the doorknob. Nikki: Where were you? Meilin: I was searching for another puzzle piece, remember? Nikki: Any luck? Meilin: No. Just ahead of the foursome, they see Casey and Chelsea reach Miss McKenzie by the front gate. Misty and Kari are halfway down the hill when they hear someone yelling. Rita: Hurry up guys! There’s only forty-five seconds left! Casey: (out of breath) I’m glad that it’s over! Chelsea: (out of breath) I agree. This prize better be good. Sora: Kari! Hurry! Layla: Thirty seconds to go! With Misty and Kari closing in, Meilin, Nikki, Yolei, and Madison are sprinting as fast as they can to make it down the hill. Layla: Fifteen seconds and counting. Misty and Kari come running across the finish line, both completely out of breath. Kari hands their pieces to Miss McKenzie before collapsing on the ground. Sora and Mimi go over to help her. Misty stands with her hands on her knees as Giselle walks up to her. Giselle: You made it Misty! (smirks) I’m surprised. Misty: (breathing heavily) Oh, put a sock in it. Layla: Ten... nine... eight... seven... six... five... four... three... two... one... and that‘s all she wrote, folks! Sakura: (looking up the hill) It looks like the others didn’t make it. After about another minute, Yolei, Madison, Meilin, and Nikki finally reach the rest of the group. After they hand their pieces over, they break down in exhaustion. A couple of minutes later, the sixteen girls gather around as Miss McKenzie shows them the puzzle... with the exception of the one missing piece that Yolei and Madison couldn’t find. Layla: This is the first prize... a Polaroid camera worth ninety dollars. The six teams that successfully completed the mission will get their names put into the drawing for this prize, which will be held on the forty first day. Nikki: Six? What about Meilin and me? We turned in our pieces on time. Layla: Yes, but neither of you were here when time expired. According to the rules, both teammates must be present along with their two puzzle pieces for them to complete the challenge when time expired. Meilin and Nikki look at the others in surprise. In return, they get an equally surprised look from everyone except for Sora, Mimi, Sasami, and Rita. Meilin: Wait a second... Yolei, this is all your fault! You were the one who read the instructions! Yolei: How was I supposed to know? I thought I read them all! Meilin: Well obviously you didn’t. Sora: In fact, there was a little bit on the back of the paper that you didn’t read. Giselle: What is wrong with you? You could’ve cost all of us a camera? Yolei: I’m sorry... I didn’t mean to. Misty: I told you that anyone from Digimon couldn’t be trusted. Giselle: I’m starting to believe you. Sora: Enough of this! Misty: Oh, so now the tomboy wants to defend the geek! Sora: Who are you calling a tomboy? Misty: You! Who do you think, your mother? Sora: (gasps) How dare you! Sakura: That was uncalled for Misty! Mimi: (pleadingly) Stop it, both of you! Yolei: There’s no reason for you two to fight! I am willing to accept my mistakes, okay? There’s no need for all of this! Meilin: If you would’ve just read the instructions, then we wouldn’t be fighting right now! Yolei: (angrily) Do you want a piece of me? Kari: (yelling over everyone) That’s enough! Everyone stops arguing as they turn their attention to Kari. Kari: You’re all fighting like a bunch of babies! Look at you all! Sure, Yolei made a mistake, but I’m sure it wasn’t intentional. Yolei: It’s true! Misty: You’re lying! Sora: Will you stop hassling us? Kari: All of you shut up! We’re all supposed to be teenagers and pre-teens here! Instead, you’re all acting like you were just born yesterday! Why don’t you all grow up? Kari’s words hit home, as every one of the girls stops to think about their actions. Layla: Kari’s right. You girls have to learn how to live in harmony for six weeks. If you let silly arguments like these go on, none of you will make it that far. Hopefully you sixteen will think about that as you await the next challenge. With that, Miss McKenzie heads to the gate to leave. Layla: (VO) When we return... Kari sits on her bed, sobbing as she looks out to the clear night sky. Layla: (VO) Kari is the first to feel the effects of disunity among the roomies... Kari: (sniffles) I wish there were someway to make everyone get along. Madison knocks on the door. Neither Meilin or Nikki get up to answer it. Madison: It’s me guys! Open up! Meilin: (VO) I want to strange Yolei right now! If I would’ve known, I would have stayed and waited for time to expire! Madison: (VO) It’s bad enough that Meilin and Nikki are mad at Yolei. They probably think it was fair that we didn’t finish either. Layla: (VO) And later on, it’s time for the first physical challenge... Sakura: (CC) We have to stay awake for 48 hours straight to win the challenge. Chelsea: I don’t think those two will survive being in the same room for 48 hours. Layla: (VO) That’s all when Roomies returns... * * * * * * * * * * Night Three As the after effects of the first prize challenge linger over the heads of the sixteen residents, they begin to wonder what would have happened if Kari hadn’t jumped in when she did. Sora, Mimi, and Yolei are sitting on a couch in the second floor recreation room. Yolei: Why does this have to happen to me? How could I have missed it? Sora: (sympathetically) It was an accident. Everyone knows you didn’t do it on purpose. Yolei: So why do I suddenly have half of the cast breathing down my neck? Mimi: Stop worrying about it. Their minds are probably so filled with greed that’ll they just point out any simple mistake. Sora: Yeah. It’s called weeding out the weak from the strong. Yolei: But I’m not weak. I just made a simple mistake. Mimi: I said forget about it! You’re only hurting yourself if you keep thinking about it. Sora: We need to move on. Like Kari said, we should start acting like mature young women. Sasami: I think that’s a lesson that even you need to take to heart Sora. The three girls turn to the doorway and see Sasami standing there, smiling. She’s holding a silver tray in her hands. On the tray sits four cups and a pot of hot tea. Mimi: Sasami... how long have you been standing there? Sasami: Only a few seconds. Can I join you guys? Yolei: Sure, I guess. Unless you’re going to yell at me too. Sasami puts the tray down on the table. She then sits down in the loveseat, right next to Sora. Sasami: (as she begins pouring tea into one of the cups) I don’t understand. Everyone is so bent on hurting you. Sora: They’re too focused on the money. I thought we were here to have fun. Mimi: Really. I mean, money isn’t everything! Sasami: That’s true. After Sasami finishes filling the cups, each of the girls takes one in hand as they continue to converse. Sasami: Anyway, they’re right Yolei. Eventually everyone will forget about the whole thing and worry about the next challenge. Yolei: (sighs) I hope so. I don’t know how much of this anguish I can take. Sora: I feel like mine will never end. Mimi: That’s right... Misty’s such a pain in the ass! Sasami: Now now, let’s not judge her like that. Sora: Seriously though, Misty’s been on all of our cases since we got here... especially me. Yolei: So what do we suppose we do about it? Sasami: Whatever we do, we better do it fast. Who knows how long before Misty actually starts throwing punches at Sora. Or vice versa even. Sora: I’d never do such a thing! Mimi: Really? Don’t you remember how close you were to leaping at Misty and strangling her? Sora: Don’t remind me. Yolei: (sips her tea) Maybe we should get Kari to help us. After all, she’s the only who’s intent on keeping the house together. Sasami: Where is Kari anyway? I haven’t seen her since the challenge ended. She didn’t even show up for dinner! Sora: She’s up in her room. Mimi: I wish we were all just like her. Then we wouldn’t have to worry about all of these problems. Yolei: You don’t know Kari like I know her. She tends to keep things bottled up. That’s why whenever she does explode like she did today, she lets it all go at once. Sora: I would have never thought of Tai’s sister like that. Mimi: At least Kari doesn’t share Tai’s personality. Sora: (giggles) That is so true. Speaking of Kari, she’s in her room. She sits on her bed, sobbing as she looks out to the clear night sky. Kari: Why do we always have to be at each others’ throats? Why can’t we complete a task without getting angry at someone? (sniffles) I wish there were someway to make everyone get along. As the camera zooms in on Kari’s face, we notice that Misty is standing silently in the doorway. She has a look of sadness on her face. As Kari continues to cry, Misty slowly walks away. Elsewhere, Madison is on her way to Meilin and Nikki’s room. Upon arrival though, she discovers that their door has been locked. She knocks on the door. Despite the fact that they are both in the room, neither of them get up to answer it. Madison: It’s me guys! Open up! Meilin: (from behind the door) If it’s about Yolei, we don’t want to talk about it! Nikki: (also from behind the door) Sorry! Madison: This is crazy! You’re all accusing her of a stupid mistake. Meilin: (opens the door) A stupid mistake? It cost us a chance at a camera! Madison: Your chances of actually winning the camera weren’t that good anyway! Can’t you two just forgive and forget? Meilin: Never. Do you think I’d risk my shot at a million dollars because that girl can’t even use those glasses of hers right? Nikki: (appearing next to Meilin) I agree. Sorry Madison, but unless she apologizes personally for her actions, we won’t forgive her. With that, Meilin slams down in Madison’s face. Nikki: Do you think we were too hard on Madison? I mean, she’s only Yolei’s roommate. Meilin: She was also on her team, remember? Ever think that she might be working with her? Nikki: That’s preposterous. Madison isn’t like that. Meilin: You never know. You never know... Meilin heads over to her backpack and pulls out a romance novel to read in bed. Meilin: (VO) I want to strange Yolei right now! If I would’ve known, I would have stayed and waited for time to expire! (sighs) I’m too tired though. I’ll strangle Yolei tomorrow. Nikki: (VO) I think a lot of people are angry at Yolei, and it’s more than just Meilin and I. Meanwhile, Madison returns to her room, where Yolei is looking at the local newspaper. Madison: Feeling any better Yolei? Yolei: (sighs as she puts the newspaper down) No. I’m still bitter over the whole things. (begins to smack her hand on her forehead over and over again) I can’t believe I was so stupid! Madison runs over and grabs Yolei’s hand before she can hit herself with it again. Madison: Yolei! Will you stop kicking yourself over that? I know you didn’t mean it. I can’t see why no one else sees things the way I do. (thinking for a second) Except maybe Kari. Boy, did she go off earlier... Yolei sits there speechless. Madison now sighs, wondering if she can cheer Yolei up. Madison: (VO) It’s bad enough that Meilin and Nikki are mad at Yolei. They probably think it was fair that we didn’t finish either. Suddenly, Giselle walks by the room. She decides to invite herself in. Giselle: What’s up you two? Madison: Nothing. Giselle: (to Yolei) Still mad over what happened today? Yolei: Yeah. Giselle sits down next to Yolei and puts her arm around her shoulder. Giselle: You need to stop being a crybaby. So what if you made a mistake? Not everyone’s perfect. Except for me, of course. Madison: (rolls her eyes) Whatever. Giselle: You’ve got to be strong. You don’t have to listen to everyone else’s opinions. You’re Yolei! There’s no one else like you! And don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise! Yolei: You mean it? Giselle: (smiles) Of course I mean it! Do you think I’m doing this just so I can get you to like me? Madison: (putting her hands on her hips) I think you are. And weren’t you siding with Misty earlier? Giselle: Me? Side with Misty? You’ve got to be kidding! That girl has a few screws loose. Anyone who’s friends with her probably isn’t too smart. Madison: I don’t trust you. How am I supposed to know that what you’re saying is true? Giselle: Oh, you can trust me. Madison: I certainly can’t. Yolei: Madison! Giselle’s trying to help and all you’re doing is making the whole situation worse! Give Giselle some credit! Giselle: That reminds me... I was talking to Miss McKenzie after the challenge, and she found out that the puzzle piece that you were after was claimed by one of the other teams. Madison: (CC) Where did Giselle get this information? Is it reliable enough for us to believe? Yolei: (CC) Someone took the piece out of our room! I can’t believe someone would stoop that low! Madison: Really? Yolei: Who? Giselle: Casey and Chelsea. Yolei: Of course! They were the ones thrashing about Meilin and Nikki’s room when we got there! Madison: Let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe their clue pointed them there too. Giselle: It could be a possibility. Or maybe, it was just a simple case of sabotage. Madison: They wouldn’t do that! Yolei: (slowly) Would they? Giselle: No one really knows what Casey is like. She might be a juvenile delinquent. As for Chelsea, she looks like someone who would strategize a lot. Even if it meant sabotaging you guys for them to succeed. Madison: Chelsea isn’t like that! Sure, she tends to talk a little too often, but she’d never do something like that. And I’m sure Casey’s a sweet young girl who’s just trying to get some publicity for her Pokémon career. Giselle: Oh yeah? Just wait until the next challenge. Then we’ll see if they’re trustworthy or not. Layla: (VO) When we return, the residents compete in their first physical challenge... Sakura: (CC) We have to stay awake for 48 hours straight to win the challenge. Sora: (VO) Basically, this is a test of strength and stamina. Layla: (VO) Which team will be up to the test? Meilin: Do you guys want a hundred thousand dollars or not? Layla: (VO) Who will make it to the end? Giselle: (CC) This is the stupidest challenge I’ve ever been a part of. Kari: (struggling to stay awake) Someone please end this already... Layla: (VO) When Roomies comes back, right after this short break. * * * * * * * * * * Day Four Meilin and Giselle are sitting across from each other in the dining room. They are currently eating toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, which were made by Chelsea. Chelsea: Do you guys like them? I saw the recipe on a cooking show. Meilin: These are pretty good, Chelsea! Giselle: I agree. They may be just ham and cheese sandwiches, but they taste good. Meilin: (taking a bite out of her sandwich) Can I ask you something Giselle? Giselle: Sure. Meilin: Why do you act so stuck up all of the time? Giselle: (lying) Whatever made you think that I was like that? Meilin: The way you are around everyone. You have Jun Motimiya serving you on hand and foot! Giselle: I didn’t make her do anything. She wanted to be my servant. She said so herself. Meilin: I don’t believe you. (to Chelsea) Go get Jun, Chelsea. Chelsea nods and runs upstairs to find Jun. Meilin: This isn’t a palace! You can’t make Jun your little servant! Giselle: As I said before, I didn’t force her to do anything. Meilin: Stop lying! If this is your way of manipulating people to like you, then it’s not going to work. Giselle: (crosses her arms over her chest) And I suppose yelling at Yolei makes you the most popular girl here. Meilin: (gasps) Yolei deserved that! She cost Nikki and myself a shot at a camera! But forcing that girl to work for you is torture! I don’t believe for a second that she willingly agreed to this! Giselle: Why don’t you ask her yourself? Here she comes now. Sure enough, Chelsea enters the dining room with Jun in tow. Meilin: Jun! Are you Giselle’s servant? Jun: (nods) Yes. Meilin: Did she force you to be her servant? Jun: (nods again) Yes. Meilin: Are you just saying yes just so Giselle won’t do something to you that you both might regret? Giselle: (gets up) Wait just a minute! I’m tired of hearing these stupid accusations! Meilin: (ignoring Giselle) Answer the question, Jun! Giselle: You don’t have to answer it. Meilin: Aha! You’re admitting that you’ll beat her if she answers yes! Giselle: I can’t believe you! You have no evidence! Meilin: I saw Jun cleaning your bed yesterday! She got you a drink from the refrigerator during breakfast this morning! What else do you need? Jun: If I may interrupt. On my behalf, I’d just like to say that I’m just helping Giselle out so that I get a chance to get to know her better. It is by my choice that I do a few things for Giselle, but in no know am I her servant. Giselle: See. She just helps me out. She’s not my servant. Meilin gets out of her seat, throws what’s left of her sandwich in the trash can, and then walks out of the room. Meilin: (stops to turn around to face Giselle) I’ll be watching you! Meilin then leaves to go to her room. Chelsea just shakes her head and walks off to the first floor recreation room. Jun follows her. Giselle continues to sit there, angrily eating the rest of her sandwich. Giselle: (CC) I’m just appalled that Meilin would think that Jun is my slave. Meilin: (CC) I don’t know what Giselle’s angle is, but I’ll do whatever it takes to expose her for the fake that she is. Chelsea: (CC) I’m just confused. Can Giselle get away with something like this? Or is Meilin just blowing steam? A little later that day, Sakura and Madison have gone outside to check the mailbox. They find another manila envelope inside. They run inside to gather everyone in the downstairs recreation room. As soon as everyone is gathered, Sakura opens the envelope, takes out the videotape inside, and puts it into the VCR. Kero: Hi! Sakura: It’s Kero! Misty: Who? Madison: Kero’s the guardian beast of the Clow Cards. His job is to keep them safe from harm, as well as guide the Cardcaptors in their mission to recover the ones that are still lost. Kero: You know, I’ve known the Cardcaptors for quite awhile. Especially Sakura and Meilin. Yep, our favorite two ladies are the team captains for your very first physical challenge. What’s it about? Don’t lose sleep tonight thinking about it. You’ll be more worried about losing sleep just playing it. Sakura celebrates while Meilin gives a somber smile. Madison takes the envelope from Sakura and pulls out the instructions for the challenge. Meilin: Don’t forget to read it all Madison! Yolei growls silently in the corner to herself as a couple of the girls look at her. Madison: (reading aloud) In the first of a total of eight physical challenges that you will be facing while living here, you will be attempting to stay awake for two straight days... Sakura: (CC) We have to stay awake for 48 hours straight to win the challenge. Madison: (still reading aloud) At five o’clock today, Miss McKenzie will deliver two crates to the house, one for each team. In it are several supplies, including a sizeable amount of food which the teams will be sharing during the challenge. Both teams will be allowed to carry as much food as they can into the room, along with one bag of personal belongings that they may stuff with whatever the team members wish. The teams will then be locked in the room for 48 hours. The team that has the most members that stay awake for the duration of the challenge will have one hundred thousand dollars added to their personal pot. Chelsea: (CC) Stay awake for 48 hours? I’ve never been awake longer than 14 in a day! Sora: (VO) Basically, this is a test of strength and stamina. Giselle: (CC) This is the stupidest challenge I’ve ever been a part of. Madison: (reading) Be ready to enter the room around five o’clock. And make sure to choose teams beforehand. Sakura will be the captain of the pink team, and Meilin will be the captain of the red team. Giselle: I guess we’d better start picking teams. Meilin: Duh! I could’ve told you that. [The team assignments (picked in random order): Pink - Sakura, Mimi, Nikki, Giselle, Jun, Madison, Duplica, and Sora Red - Meilin, Misty, Yolei, Rita, Chelsea, Casey, Sasami, and Kari] Night Four The teams undergo final preparations for the challenge. Some of the girls go to collect the most prized possessions, while others plan strategy for the challenge. Sakura: Okay, I think we should work in shifts. I say that we should try to get half of the team to go the full 48 hours. Giselle: Only half? Why not the whole team? Sora: I agree with Sakura. I honestly don’t think the whole team will make it. Not that I’m doubting anyone’s abilities, mind you. Madison: So who should stay up and who should try to sleep? Nikki: I say whomever off the bat thinks they can’t stay awake for 48 hours should try to sleep. (raises her hand) And I elect myself to be one of those four. Jun, Mimi, and Duplica also raise their hands. Sora: Well, that’s settled. Sakura: Okay. We have thirty minutes. Let’s figure out what food we’re going to bring in, and then we’ll decide how to ration it. Duplica: (CC) Sakura seems really confident about this mission. She’s really taking charge. It’s like she’s done this before, although we all know she hasn’t. Meanwhile, with the red team... Meilin: We should all go for it! Obviously not everyone will last 48 hours, but we have to get as many people as possible. Sasami: Yeah! We should also try our best to keep each other awake. Kari: I agree. The team that works together, wins together. At exactly seven o’clock, the two teams were lead to two different rooms, located on opposite sides of the mansion. Both of the rooms had been locked prior to today. The rooms have been unlocked for the purposes of this challenge. Layla: (VO) At seven o’clock, the two teams were brought to two rooms in the mansion. Each team member carried in what they could in one trip, and then the door was locked behind them. The first physical challenge begins now. The girls will stay in these rooms for the next 48 hours. In one room, the pink team is getting used to their surroundings... Giselle: You mean we have to sleep on the floor? What happened to the sleeping bags? Sora: Will you stop complaining already! Duplica: Really Giselle, you really need to stop envisioning yourself as a millionaire. You haven’t exactly won the money yet, you know. Over in the other room, the members of the red team are attempting to adjust being together. Misty: I’m only working with you guys so I can win the money. Sasami: Is that all you ever think about? Rita: Probably. Meilin: Will you guys be quiet! We have to conserve our energy if we hope to stay awake. Time elapsed: 4 hours Layla: (VO) Four hours have passed. Let’s see how the teams are doing. First, the red team... Kari: (struggling to stay awake) Someone please end this already... Casey: (yawns) I’m usually in bed by now. Yolei: Wake up guys! We have to stay up as long as possible! Kari: I’m sorry Yolei, but I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. Meilin: So what? We’re competing for a hundred grand here! Rita: Meilin! Be considerate for other people’s feelings! Misty: Let them sleep. Besides, I doubt the other team can keep more than six people awake. Layla: (VO) Really? Wouldn’t Misty be surprised to see how the blue team is doing... Madison: I can’t believe that we’re all still awake! Sora: We’re only a few hours in. It’ll be a few more before we start feeling the effects of sleep deprivation. Mimi: Huh? Sora: In other words, before we start feeling sleep ourselves. Mimi: You know, you’ve been spending too much time around Izzy. Sakura: So, who should go to sleep first? Duplica: Since Nikki raised her hand first when we asked earlier, I think she should get to sleep first. Jun and Mimi nod their heads in approval. Sakura, Sora, Madison, and even Giselle follow suit. Nikki: Really? Are you guys sure? Mimi: Of course! The rest of us will be fine! Giselle: You can bet on it! Nikki: Okay then. Thanks! As Nikki heads over to one corner of the room to get some sleep, the others try to think of a few ways to keep themselves from falling asleep. Sakura: (VO) I can’t believe how well we work as a team, especially after everything that’s been happening the past four days. I hope that we win this challenge. It would be a great boost for all of us! End Episode Three Layla: (VO) On the next episode of Roomies... Madison: Sakura! You’ve got to stay awake! Sakura: (a little dazed) Is it morning yet? Layla: (VO) After several hours without sleep, the roomies begin to fall one by one... Misty: Another one bites the dust. Meilin: Just how many of us are left? Giselle: (CC) Some plan. We still have a whole day or so to go, but only three of us have stayed awake! Mimi: (talking in her sleep) Is that a Digimon or are you just happy to see me? Layla: (VO) Which team will win the challenge? Then, Kari begins a new task... Kari: Misty. Sora. I’ll do whatever it takes for you two to become friends. Misty: Like that’ll happen. Sora: Yeah. Kari: Oh boy... this might take awhile. Layla: (VO) The wild and wacky first week comes to its conclusion on the next episode of Roomies! Copyright Date: 5/22/01
