Today in Episode 3, Davis and TK’s argument over who should be Kari’s boyfriend escalates. You won’t believe who gets involved in the discussion. Later on, it’s the first prize challenge. Which Roomies will complete the challenge? Read on and see! Note: Due to the fact that I’m behind, Episode 4 will not be released until Wednesday. Disclaimer: I own none of the characters that are participating in this reality series. Remember that before anyone thinks of trying to sue me. * * * * * * * * * * Tori: I told you that kid was nothing but trouble. Oak: (VO) Last time... Davis: He could’ve killed me with that sword! He’s got to go! Oak: (VO) Several of the roomies fired their opinions on Li’s door smashing incident... Brock: You know, if you two wouldn’t have argued about which one of you would get the top bunk, he probably wouldn’t be in this situation. Ash: I bet Professor Oak’s kicking him out of the mansion right now. Davis: I hope he does get kicked out. Guys like him are nothing but trouble. Tracey: (CC) I think it’s plainly obvious that all of us want Li gone. Oak: (VO) Li then settles things with a formal apology, which everyone excepts... Davis: I personally think that his actions were intentional. Oak: (VO) Except for Davis... TK: (CC) Li is honestly making an attempt at starting anew after what happened yesterday. Ash forgave him. Why couldn’t Davis? Li: (CC) I truly am sorry, and I’m not joking about it either. I regret bringing that sword in the first place. Why can’t Davis see that? Oak: (VO) The Roomies then attempt to put their feelings aside as they compete in their first physical challenge... Li: We wouldn’t be in this situation if you caught that Tauros from the start. Tai: Hey! Who’s the one who threw the pebble at it? Davis: You can’t capture a Pokémon behind my back TS! That’s cheating! Oak: (VO) Well, sort of... Izzy: I bet the other team’s ahead of us. I can’t believe you guys are just standing around. Matt: Chill Izzy! Izzy: Let’s go guys! There’s a lot of money at stake here! Tori: Who died and put you in charge? Izzy throws up his hands in frustration. He mumbles to himself as he grabs another Pokéball and makes his way back into the reserve. Cody throws the Pokéball at Starmie. Starmie uses its water gun attack to deflect it. Cody: That’s the tenth time already! Why won’t they just go in the stupid Pokéball?! Ken is having much better luck, as it only takes him two tries to catch a Starmie. Cody is now outraged at Ken’s good fortune, as he stomps angrily away. Gary: What are you losers doing standing around? Davis: I’ve decided to quit before he really shows me up. Gary: (VO) Am I the only person on this team who’s serious about winning? Seriously! Tai: (CC) Gary needs to get off of that high horse of his! We won, and that’s that! Izzy: (CC) That contest was within our reach! If Matt and Tori would’ve gone out and searched for Pokémon like everyone else, we would have won! Richie: (CC) Right now I’m feeling a little sad because it seems that we didn’t work together as a team. Ash: (CC) That’s a hundred thousand down the drain thanks to those two. If I’d known they’d do this, I wouldn’t have chosen them. * * * * * * * * * * Sixteen young guys Four different anime shows Forty-two days living alone in a mansion One lucky soul walks away with up to one million dollars in cash (Begin theme song, showing each of the contestants, two at a time via split screen) Ash, the Pokémon Master wannabe Brock, future Pokémon breeder from Pewter City Cody, the silent kendo expert Davis, Digidestined leader for Season 2 Gary, grandson of the great Professor Oak Izzy, keeper of the Pineapple computer Joe, pre-med doctor in training Ken, the ex-Digimon Emperor Li, descendant of Clow Reed Matt, lead singer of a local band in Odaiba Richie, Ash’s 5th round opponent in the Pokémon League Tai, carrier of the Crest of Courage Tenchi, heir apparent to the throne of Planet Jurai TK, who has something against the powers of darkness Tori, Sakura’s older brother Tracey, Pokémon watcher from the Orange Islands Some of these guys will become the best of friends Others will develop grudges against those they hate But only one will walk out with up to a million dollars in cash and prizes These boys are... roomies! Night Four In the blue bedroom, TK watches as Izzy, who’s sitting at the desk, scribbles some notes on a piece of paper. TK: What are you doing Izzy? Izzy: I’m trying to figure out why we lost that physical challenge. TK: Why worry about something like that? Izzy: That was worth a hundred grand! Do you know what we could’ve done with that money? TK: Yeah, I have an idea. Still though, only one person is going to get the money, and it’s not necessarily going to be you. Izzy: You think so, huh? If I play my cards right, I’ll be the one at the top when it’s all over. TK: (laughs) We’ll see. Izzy: Anyway, I think we’ve got to do something about Tori and your brother. TK: What about them? Izzy: Didn’t you see them? They just stood around while the other team won the challenge! TK: Matt would never do something like that. Izzy: I think you’re right. Tori probably persuaded him to help him throw the mission. TK: But why would he do something like that? Izzy: I don’t know. Of course, this is all theory. Who knows if it’s true or not? I wonder... TK: (VO) I know how hard it can be to disprove one of Izzy’s theories, but for some reason I have a strange feeling that he’s wrong about this one. At that exact moment, Tenchi and Ken were hanging out in their bedroom. Ken: So Tenchi, what’s up with all of these girls that live with you? Tenchi: Huh? Oh, them. Ken: Those girls are cute! Why don’t you ever try to ask one of them out on a date? Tenchi: Um... well you see... Ken: (winks) Oh, I get it! You’re shy, aren’t you? Tenchi: It’s not that! I just don’t have feelings for any of them. Ken: Really? What about Ryoko? Or Princess Ayeka? Tenchi: Be serious! Would you want someone who blows stuff up all the time as your girlfriend? Ken: Okay, so what about Ayeka? Tenchi: I’m talking about both of them! Ken: (sweatdrops) What about the other girls? Tenchi: Sasami? She’s too young. Washu? No chance for her, especially if she’s going to use me for her experiments every chance she gets. Mihoshi? Maybe... if she wasn’t too clumsy. Ken: What about Kiyone? Tenchi: What about Kiyone? There’s nothing about her that turns me on or off. Ken: I find that hard to believe. Tenchi: What about you? Didn’t you used to be a genius? Didn’t you used to have girls screaming every day to meet you? Ken: Yeah, but that was so long ago. Tenchi: That was only six months ago! You’re telling me that there aren’t any girls that worship you any more? Ken: (blushes) Well, there is one girl... Tenchi: Really? You lucky dog you. Who is it? Ken: Promise not to tell anyone? Tenchi nods. Ken whispers the name of his girlfriend into Tenchi’s ear. Tenchi: Really? Ken: Yep. Tenchi: Nice. Ken: Thanks. Tenchi: Just one question. Ken: Yes? Tenchi: Who is she? Ken facefaults onto the ground in disbelief. Day Five TK and Tracey are outside the mansion. In fact, they are walking down the road to Professor Oak’s laboratory. TK: Thanks for allowing me to come with you today. Tracey: You’re welcome, TK. I didn’t know you had such an interest in Professor Oak’s studies. TK: Oh, it’s not that. It’s something else. Tracey: Huh? TK: I’ll explain when we get there. Upon arrival at the laboratory, Tracey gives TK a personal tour while the professor finishes one of his research projects. Oak: (VO) When we return... TK: (sighs) I’m just tired of it all! Oak: (VO) It seems that TK has a slight problem... Tracey: You mean Davis won’t stop bugging you about Kari? Davis: Why don’t we just e-mail her and ask her ourselves? TK: Why? It’s not like she’ll read anything from you! Oak: (VO) And later on in the prize challenge... Izzy: (into the microphone) Right! Make a right, TK! Once again in the maze, the cameraman chases Davis as he dives on TK, sending them both to the ground. Oak: (VO) The rivalry between the two of them takes a turn for the worst... TK: (pushing Davis off of him) What is your problem? Davis: You are! Ken: This has gotten way out of hand too fast! They could hurt each other! Oak: (VO) When Roomies returns... * * * * * * * * * * Back at the mansion... Davis: Hey! Has anyone seen TK this morning? Brock: He went out with Tracey this morning. Davis: What for? Brock: Beats me. They didn’t say anything about where they were going. Over at Professor Oak’s laboratory, Tracey is leading TK over to the water Pokémon preserve. Tracey: I still don’t understand why you wanted to see this part of the preserve. TK: Well... I wanted to come here to think. With that, TK sits by the lake. He looks around. A school of Goldeen swims by. A pair of Squirtle are sitting together on a log in the middle of the lake. A baby Wooper walks alone on the far shore, chanting its name. TK smiles. Tracey: Think? Why can’t you do that in the mansion? TK: There’s too many people around. It’s hard to get a moment’s peace in there. Tracey: Okay. I agree with you there. But why come all the way down here? TK: (taking a seat by the lake) I’m just tired of it all! Tracey: Tired of it all? You mean tired of living with all of us? TK: Well, not exactly. Just one person in particular. TK relays his thoughts to Tracey as he flashes back to eleven o’clock last night. In the flashback, Davis walks into TK’s room just as he is about to get into bed for the night. Davis: TL! We need to talk! TK: (sighs) Davis, for the last time, my name’s TK! Besides, it’s eleven o’clock! Izzy: Yeah. What do you want at this hour? Davis: I want to talk about Kari! TK: Oh? What about her? Davis: Kari likes me the best! TK: Really? Davis: You know she likes me! Don’t deny it! TK: No, she likes me! Davis: What makes you so impressive? TK: For one, I can actually spell TK right. And two, I don’t go around telling everyone how much I love Kari. Davis: So? How else do you get noticed? To date the most popular girl in the seventh grade, you’ve got to be popular yourself! TK: Oh really? Tracey: (interrupting the flashback) Wait a minute TK! You mean Davis won’t stop bugging you about Kari? TK: Yeah. Tracey: I’ve been meaning to ask whom this Kari girl is. Is she cute? TK: Is she cute? Tracey, is that all you ever think about? Tracey: What do you mean? TK: First you’re trying to get a date with Tori’s sister Sakura, and now you’re trying to get a date with Tai’s sister! Tracey: Kari is Tai’s sister? TK: Yes. Anyway, back to the story. Return to flashback mode... Davis: Why don’t we just e-mail her and ask her ourselves? TK: Why? It’s not like she’ll read anything from you! Davis: Why don’t we just login to the computer in the recreation room and find out ourselves? The two of them make their way to the upstairs recreation them. Upon entering it, they see Tai on one of the computers, checking his own e-mail. Tai: (turning towards the duo) Hey guys! What’s up? Davis: (heading for one of the computers) I’m going to prove to TJ once and for all that Kari likes me! TK: (heading for another computer) We’ll just see about that! Tai: Stop arguing over my little sister! Don’t you two have better things to do with your free time? Both Davis and TK ignore Tai as they type away at their computers, racing to see who could send their e-mail first. All of a sudden Tori walks into the room. Tori: What’s going on? Tai: Those two over there are fighting over who my little sister likes more. Tori: Aren’t you the least bit worried about your sister? Tai: Of course I am! It’s just that there’s no stopping those two once they get in a fight. Tori: Let me give you a few tips. Tai: What is that supposed to mean? Tori: I have a little sister just like yours. She always has boys trying to flirt with her. Tai: Seriously? Tori: Yep. Of course, I just don’t want any guy to be with my sister, so I have to keep a close eye on her. Tai: That sounds kind of familiar. Tori: Look, let me just help you out, okay? Tai: Sure. The two of them walk over to another corner of the room, where Tori starts whispering to Tai. In the meantime, TK and Davis are just waiting for Kari to respond to their e-mails. Davis: (CC) Just watch! Kari will reply to mine first! Then she will go out with me for sure! TK: (CC) Tai’s right. We are being childish. But I can’t just let Davis go after Kari like this! Tai and Tori finish their conversation. They walk back to the two dueling boys. Tai: Okay you two! I’ve had enough of this nonsense! Stop fighting over Kari! Davis: Okay. TK: We’ll stop. Tai: Thanks! Davis: Right after TC here admits defeat! TK: Not on your life! Tai: (sighs) I give up! Tori: (grunts) You’re hopeless, Tai Kamiya! Tai: (as Tori heads out of the room) Hey! I tried! As Tai follows Tori out, TK and Davis continue to watch their computers... Back in the present... Tracey: So what happened? TK: Beats me. I waited until three o’clock this morning before giving up because Kari hadn’t replied to either of our e-mails. Tracey: And how did Davis take it? TK: He seemed happy... but I checked again after breakfast, and Kari still hadn’t responded. Tracey: You’re worried about all of this? If you like this girl so much, why don’t you just ask her out on a date? TK: Huh? Oh, we’re not like that? Tracey: I’ve heard that one before. Oak: Boys! The two turn as Professor Oak walks up to them. Oak: Sorry to interrupt your little conversation, but I have something for you. The professor pulls out a manila envelope. Oak: You guys should return the house. You have another challenge. There will be two vans at the mansion in an hour to take you to where the challenge is being held. I’ll see you all there. Roughly an hour later, the sixteen residents are packed into two vans, as they leave the mansion grounds. Brock: (CC) Today, we’re splitting up into eight pairs. We’ll be going through this maze. All the teams that make it to the end will be entered in a drawing for a cool prize. At least that’s what the paper said. Ken: (CC) It’s pretty easy. All you have to do is make sure that you make it to the end of the maze without getting caught. The vans pulled in to Pallet Town Botanical Gardens. There, they arrive at a grass hedge maze. Professor Oak is waiting for them. Oak: (as the kids get out of the vans) Greetings! Welcome to your first prize challenge! I hope you’re ready. Today, as you probably already know, you’ll be making your way through a maze. Ash: Wait a minute! How come I’ve never seen this here before? Gary: If you’d take time to explore the finer things in life, then maybe you’d be more knowledgeable about the tourist attractions in town. Oak: Now don’t you two start again! Ash and Gary: Sorry. Oak: Anyway, the prize you are competing for today is this... He takes out a portable CD player and gives it to Tracey. One by one, the cast members get their own personal look at it. Oak: This is a Panasonic Portable CD player. It’s a very interesting piece of equipment. Today, you’ll be competing in the drawing to win this. But that’s not all. You’ll also get two CDs of your choice! I’ll personally pay for any two CDs that you want! Plain and simple. All of the guys’ eyes light up in amazement. Tai: (CC) A CD player! Cool! I’ll finally have something to listen to that’s better than the music that Matt plays. Matt: (CC) I know what you’re thinking, Tai! That CD player is mine! Oak: Before we begin... we have to choose teams! Izzy: (smiles) Well then, I’ll team up with Ken. Davis: No fair! You’ll just outsmart everyone! Izzy: Exactly! Oak: Actually, the teams were predetermined beforehand. For this challenge, you will be pairing up with your roommates. Everyone gasps in surprise. Tracey: (VO) I’m not too thrilled about teaming up with Li. Sure, I’ve forgiven him for the sword incident. I don’t know if he can be trusted in a game like this though. Richie: (VO) I hope Cody’s gotten rid of that negative attitude of his, because this challenge will definitely require a team effort. Oak: (VO) For the first challenge, the two teammates will be using sophisticated hearing devices to keep in contact with each other. While one teammate is going through the maze, the other will be up here as a guide. The teammate in the maze will have two minutes to find their way out of the maze. It’s not that easy, though. One team will be in the maze as well, trying to stop them. Each of the roommates put on a waistband with their respective color on it. Oak: Okay. We will pick teams at random to go in, using this lottery machine behind me. Are we ready to go? The White team (Davis and Ash) draws first to compete, with the Blue team (TK and Izzy) defending in the maze. Ash decides to go through the maze while Davis directs from above. TK and Izzy are blindfolded and then led to two different specific places inside the maze. Oak: (talking through the device) TK! Izzy! Can you two here me inside the maze? Izzy: That’s a 10-4! TK: Roger! Oak: Davis! Ready upstairs? Davis: (on a platform above the maze) Ready and able! Oak: Ready Ash? Ash: I’m ready professor! Let’s go! Oak: On your mark! Get set! Go! Ash runs into the maze with Davis telling him where to go. TK and Izzy take off their blindfolds and start running around, attempting to locate Ash. Davis: (into the microphone) Okay, make a right. Now a left! Wait wait! Izzy’s on the other side! Turn around! Go the other way real fast! As Davis continues to instruct Ash, Izzy sees the young trainer and begins his pursuit. Davis: Hurry up! Make a left! Now right! Straight ahead! Now a left! Not your left, my left! What do you mean which way is my left? At that moment, TK jumps right into Ash’s path. Ash turns around to run away, but Izzy’s there. TK tags Ash on the shoulder to end their turn. Davis: (atop the platform) Man! Dang that TS! He blew our chance! The trio is blindfolded as they are lead out of the maze. At the same time, Professor Oak draws the next team... Oak: (VO) When we return after this break... Inside the maze, Gary gives chase as Joe runs right past him. Izzy: (into the microphone) Right! Make a right, TK! Tracey: (jumping out in front of the camera) Gotcha! Tenchi: (gasping for air) Am I there yet? Oak: (VO) Who will make it to the end for a chance at the first prize drawing? Once again in the maze, the cameraman chases Davis as he dives on TK, sending them both to the ground. Ash: It’s only a game! Stop taking it so seriously! Oak: (VO) That’s when Roomies returns... * * * * * * * * * * We resume the challenge, already in progress. Li, for the black team, is now making his way through the maze, with Tracey as his guide. Cody and Richie, the gray team, is trying to track him down. Tracey: (into the microphone) Okay Li, you’re doing well. Take the second right, followed by a quick right. There you go! Good job! You’re almost there! Cody and Richie have no clue where you are! Richie: (yelling) Cody! Where is he? Cody: (yelling back) How am I supposed to know? At the exit of the maze, Li makes the last few turns unguided. Tracey and Li celebrate their accomplishment. Tracey: (CC) Man, to think I doubted him for a second! Li’s pretty fast. He obviously made a good choice in deciding to run the maze. Oak: Next up in the maze is the Orange team, with the Red team on defense inside. Matt stands up on the platform, with Joe down at the entrance. Gary and Brock await from inside. Oak: Go! Matt: (into the microphone) Okay, follow the maze to the first junction. Make the first left. Now a right! Joe: Are you sure you know what you’re doing? Gary: (yelling) I hear him over there! Matt: Quick! Go straight! Now a left! Then a right! Wait, turn around! Brock’s ahead of you there! Go back! Now keep going straight! Then another left! Look out! Inside the maze, Gary gives chase as Joe runs right past him. Matt: He’s right behind you! Run Joe, run! Gary, in better shape than Joe, easily runs the Digidestined of Reliability down, tagging him in the back. Matt: (taking off the microphone) I knew I should’ve been the one running! Next up... the Brown team (Tenchi and Ken) runs in the maze, with the Orange team defending. Oak: Go! Ken: (guiding from above) That’s it! Just run as fast as you can! At the first junction, turn right! Matt and Joe run around, trying to locate Tenchi. Tenchi: Which way now? Ken: (into the microphone) Left, then another left. Okay, good. Matt’s on the other side, so be careful! I think he noticed you! Run! Run! Matt gives chase, but Tenchi fortunately outruns him. In the process, though, Tenchi has run himself into a dead end. Ken: Okay Tenchi, go back. Matt wandered off. At the next junction, make a left. Oak: (over the microphone) Fifteen seconds, guys. Ken: You’re almost there Tenchi! Make a left, then a right, then another right! Go! Go! Tenchi: (gasping for air) Am I there yet? Ken: Run fast! Joe’s coming from your right! Tenchi starts to slow down as Joe turns the corner just after Tenchi passes by. Oak: (to Ken) Time’s up. Ken: (sighs) You can stop now, Tenchi. We’re out of time. Tenchi stops as Joe catches up to him. Joe: What’s up? Why did you stop? Tenchi: Ran out of time. I was so close too. Outside the maze, the teams still to go await their turn. Tai: I’m getting a little nervous now. Only one out of four has made it through so far. Tori: It’s just a bit of bad communication. We’ll get through easy. Brock: So, you want to run the maze? Gary: I know it inside and out. I’ll get through with no problem! Oak: Okay, the Red team is next, with the Black team on defense. Just minutes later, Brock guides Gary through the maze, while Li and Tracey give chase. Brock: (into the microphone) You’re doing fine. But man, that Li kid’s fast! He’s sneaking up behind you! Li tries to run down Gary, but Gary dodges the tag. All of a sudden, Tracey appears. Tracey: (jumping out in front of the camera) Gotcha! Li: Good work, Tracey! Gary: I can’t believe this! Brock, why didn’t you tell me he was coming? Brock: I didn’t see him until the last second! Gary: (sarcastically) Yeah, right. Next up is the Green team (Tori and Tai), with the Brown team on defense. Oak: (at the starting line) Ready? Set? Go? Tai runs in, with Tori guiding him from above. Tenchi and Ken, in the maze, attempt to track him down. Tori: (into the microphone) You’re doing fine. Just keep running straight. Now, make the first left. Tai continues to make his way through. Tenchi and Ken occasionally find themselves just a hedge wall between themselves and Tai, but they can’t find their way to him. With Tori’s help, Tai seems to be getting to the exit. Tai: How am I doing? Tori: You’re almost there! Pick up the pace though, because Tenchi’s closing in from behind. Tai: Which way? Tori: Right! Then make a left. Tenchi: (yelling) I’ve almost got him! Tori: Run Tai! Whatever you have left in the tank, run straight to the exit! Tai turns down a few corridors before finally spotting the exit. He looks back and sees Tenchi quickly closing in. Tai makes a run for it and makes it out just as Tenchi dives to tag him. Tai: A little too late there, Tenchi! I did it! Tori: Nice going, buddy! Tai: Thanks for the assist! Tenchi: (VO) I’m feeling down now. After just missing the exit on my attempt, Tai makes it out by the skin of his teeth. Talk about two close calls that didn’t go my way. Tori: (CC) To be only the second team to make it through thus far is pretty gratifying. Oak: (back at the starting line) Cody and Richie, you two will be next. Tai and Tori will be on defense. Richie: You want to guide or run, Cody? Cody: (sighs) I’ll run. You guide me. Richie: Are you sure? Cody: Yes, I’m sure. Richie: (VO) I don’t know about this... Cody: (CC) I know my attitude hasn’t been all positive, but since I have a good feeling about this challenge, I’m going to go for it. Tai is led back into the maze with his partner Tori, both blindfolded as usual. Once they get into position, Professor Oak gives Cody the signal to start. Richie: (into the microphone) There you go, Cody. Just relax. I’ll get you through this. Make the first left. Cody: Okay, got it. Richie: Then a right, followed by another left. That’s good. Wait, slow down. Tori’s on the other side. Walk slowly so he doesn’t hear you. There, that’s right. Okay, go straight, all the way to the end of the path. Tai: (yelling) I can’t find him! Tori: (yelling back) I think I see him! Richie: Make that right at the end! Start running! Tori’s chasing you from the next aisle over. Wait, there’s a junction there! Turn around quick! Tori appears right in front of Cody. Cody quickly turns around and starts running the other way. Richie: Go go go! He’s right behind you! Tori easily catches up with Cody and tags him on the head. That ends Cody’s chance at the CD player. Richie: (VO) I felt that Tori was on top of us the whole time. I wish I could’ve guided Cody better. Winning the challenge would have been a nice emotional boost for him. Oak: (at the starting line) One team left to go. Izzy and TK, you’re running the maze. Ash and Davis are on defense. Izzy: (whispering to TK) I’ll guide. Besides, with those two knuckleheads defending, it’ll be an easy stroll to the exit. TK: (whispering back) I don’t know. Davis has had my eye on me since last night. Izzy: There’s nothing to worry about. He won’t come anywhere close to you. Ash and Davis are lead blindfolded into the maze. TK awaits for them to get into position while Izzy takes his place above. Davis: (VO) TP blew our chance at the CD player! There’s no way I’m letting him past me! TK: (CC) Let’s hope I make it through this in one piece. Oak: Everyone’s in position. Let’s start the challenge one more time! Ready TK? TK: Ready? Oak: Go! TK dashes in. Izzy guides him from above. Davis and Ash take off running, as they frantically search to locate TK. Izzy: (into the microphone) Right! Make a right, TK! That’s it! Okay, Ash is close, but I think he’s going the other way. Make this next left. That’s it! Elsewhere in the maze, Davis is sneaking his way towards TK. At the same time, Ash gets himself lost, with no idea of where to go next. Izzy smiles as he continues his guiding duties. Izzy: You’re okay, TK. They have no idea where you are. Okay, we’ve got two lefts, one after the other. Wait a second... I’ve lost Davis! TK: You’ve lost Davis? How could you lose someone with the amount of hair he has? Davis draws ever closer. Just as he turns the corner to come up behind TK, Izzy spots him. Izzy: TK, he’s right behind you! Run for it! TK takes off, but Davis goes right after him. Izzy: Go! Make the right! That right! No! I said right! Stop running straight! You’re running towards a dead end! He’s closing in. Once again in the maze, the cameraman chases Davis as he dives on TK, sending them both to the ground. Izzy: Davis! What are you doing? Davis and TK begin squabbling. The noise helps Ash locate them quickly. Davis: I got you, TB! TK: Why’d you have to go and tackle me? That was unnecessary! Davis: I didn’t want you to get away, so I dived and by chance ended up on you? Is there a problem with that? TK: Yes! The problem is you! Kari doesn’t like you and she never will like you! Davis: How dare you say that! You’re mine. Ash comes in at the last second and stops Davis from tackling TK again. Ash: It’s only a game! Stop taking it so seriously! Davis: Easy for you to say! You don’t have a guy who’s trying to steal your girlfriend! TK: Kari was never yours to begin with in the first place! Davis breaks free of Ash’s grip and throws a punch at TK, which he dodges. Outside the maze, Tori and Tenchi lead the way in through the exit, attempting to stop the fight before someone gets hurt. End Episode Three Oak: (VO) Next time on Roomies... Tenchi: (jumping in between TK and Davis) Hey! Break it up you two! Tori: That’s enough of this nonsense! Oak: (VO) Will TK and Davis be able to solve their conflict easily? Brock: (CC) The best solution would be to separate the two until they’re willing to apologize to each other. Davis: (CC) I’m not apologizing until TE agrees to let me have Kari. TK: (CC) How many times do we have to go through this? You’re not getting Kari! Oak: (VO) It doesn’t help matters much that the two of them are chosen as team captains for the next physical challenge... Li: (CC) It doesn’t matter whose team you’re on here. Those two will probably turn this into another one of their “winner gets Kari” fights. Brock: (VO) If these guys want this girl so much, why don’t they just try to impress her in a more gentle way. Because I’m sure she hates both of them right now after their most recent argument. Oak: (VO) Is there anyway to stop their petty arguments? Tai: I know of one way, but it isn’t going to be pretty. Oak: (VO) Next time on Roomies... Copyright Date: 5/25/01
