Seventh episode on-line now! Ready to get going? More like resume the action. Let’s pick up where we last left off, okay? Disclaimer: None of these characters belong to me and they never will. * * * * * * * * * * Oak: (VO) In our last episode... Izzy: I can’t believe how good you are at this, Davis. We only need to sell two more boxes and we’re done! Oak: (VO) The boys raced around town to complete their second prize challenge... Tai: So what’s our sales record so far? Richie: We’re one for six. Li: (knocks on the door) Come on! Is anybody there? Joe: There’s no need to panic Li! We’ve got fifteen minutes! We only need to sell fifteen dollars more! Ash: (knocking on a door) Come on! Please open up! Brock: (on the opposite side of the street) It’s for a good cause! We promise! Ash: (knocking on another) I’ll give you a cookie! Once again reaching into his lab coat, he pulls out the aforementioned two hundred and fifty dollars. The boys react happily or sadly, depending on their result. Oak: I have here two hundred and fifty dollars. Those ten boys who completed the challenge will get a shot at winning this money in a few weeks. For two hours of work, I’d say that’s a pretty hefty reward. Cody: (CC) Boy, would I love to have that money for myself! Oak: (VO) Then, it became a literal race when the boys hit the racetrack in their go-karts... Brock: I’m winning this one for you, Officer Jenny! Jenny: (rolls her eyes) Oh brother... Richie crosses the finish line first. The green team celebrates their first victory. Richie pumps his fist in the air as he pulls his kart to a stop. Davis’s go kart slides wide outside in the turn, sending it into a wall of tires. Tai: Davis! Davis! Officer Jenny runs back to her motorcycle to call for a doctor while Professor Oak lays Davis on the infield of the track. * * * * * * * * * * Sixteen young guys Four different anime shows Forty-two days living alone in a mansion One lucky soul walks away with up to one million dollars in cash (Begin theme song, showing each of the contestants, two at a time via split screen) Ash, pulling Pikachu away from Pallet Town on a leash Brock, taking care of his siblings Cody, practicing kendo with his grandfather Davis, with Veemon, dreaming about Kari and Gatomon Gary, showing Ash his ten gym badges Izzy, helping Kari and the Asian Digidestined return the Digimon to the Digiworld Joe, digging Gomamon out of the snow Ken, arriving on the soccer field at halftime Li, smiling at Sakura after he gained possession of the Time card Matt, performing with his band at a Christmas Eve concert Richie, running to catch the elevator with Ash and company Tai, hugging Agumon after he had escaped from the Digimon Emperor Tenchi, walking to the bus stop on his way to school TK, thinking about the powers of darkness during their battle with Black WarGreymon Tori, jumping over the fence to save Sakura from Li Tracey, drawing a picture of Pikachu while Ash and Misty look on Some of these guys will become the best of friends Others will develop grudges against those they hate But only one will walk out with up to a million dollars in cash and prizes These boys are... roomies! Nurse Joy and a Chansey get out of it. They follow Officer Jenny over to where Professor Oak has Davis laid out on the infield. Brock begins to drool as Joy starts giving Davis a check-up. Joy: (lifts one of Davis’s arms and then the other) Okay, it looks like there’s no broken bones. Do you feel any pain anywhere in your body? Davis: Not really. Joy: It’s better to be safe than sorry. Davis: Why do you people keep saying that? I’m perfectly fine! Joy: That’s what they all say. Chansey, let’s get the patient over to the car. Chansey: (hand salutes Joy) Chansey! Nurse Joy and Chansey grab Davis by the arms. The duo runs over to Joy’s car, throw him in the back seat, and then they take off back towards town. Everyone else sweatdrops. Tracey: That’s the weirdest Nurse Joy I’ve ever seen. Ash: She seemed normal the last time I saw her. Gary: She must have gotten tired of people blowing up her Pokémon Center. Brock: (yelling) Nurse Joy! Come back! Jenny: (with a harsh tone) Oh, shut up before I put you under arrest for disturbing the peace. Brock: (grabbing Jenny’s hands) Do you mean under house arrest? I know this great place where we can spend the night and... Ash grabs Brock by the ear and starts pulling him away. Ash: Usually Misty does this, but seeing as she’s not here, I might as well save your butt this time... Brock: (struggling to break free of Ash’s grip) You can let go now. Oak: Why don’t we just get back to the challenge, okay? [Third Round - Ken (Brown) vs. Cody (Green)] Right from the start, Ken shows how much age is a factor in this challenge. He dives to the inside of the first turn and from then on, he never looks back. Cody patiently waited for Ken to make a mistake, but he didn’t. Ken wins the race, cutting the deficit to two to one. Cody: (getting off his kart and walking back to his team) I’m sorry guys. I tried. Gary: (raises his hands up in frustration) I don’t believe this! Tracey: We aren’t giving up! I won‘t let them break even! [Fourth Round - Tracey (Green) vs. Tenchi (Brown)] As Tracey and Tenchi drive their go-karts to the starting line, their teams look on from the sidelines. Tai: (VO) We have to win this round! We won’t accept defeat! Joe: (CC) If Tracey doesn’t win this round, then it’ll be tied at two rounds apiece! Officer Jenny waves the green flag. Tracey and Tenchi head for the first turn side by side. They practically stay like that throughout the whole first lap. On the second, Tracey breaks a little too early. His mistake allows Tenchi to cut in front of Tracey and take the lead. Tracey: Not so fast, Tenchi! Tenchi: You’re going to have to catch me to beat me! Tracey’s team groans as Tenchi heads for the final turn in the lead. But all of a sudden, Tenchi turns the steering wheel too hard. The go-kart goes around and hits the wall, with Tenchi facing the opposite way down the track. Tracey passes by him and heads for the finish line. He pumps both fists into the air as he passes Officer Jenny at the start/finish line, temporarily letting go of the wheel, which causes his go-kart to spin around. He gets out of the kart, dazed and dizzy, while Tenchi manages to get his kart going to cross the finish line. But the damage had been done... the score was now only three to one. Ash: Tracey! Are you okay? Tracey: Am I okay? Of course I am! Although I think you need to take a good look at yourself. You’ve split into six different people! Li: (to Tenchi) You almost had him! Tenchi: I’m sorry guys. I guess my hand must’ve slipped on the steering wheel. He goes over to Tracey and has a brief talk with him. Tenchi: You could have given me more room, you know. With that, Tenchi walks off. Tracey didn’t hear Tenchi though because he was still reeling from his spin. [Fifth Round - Matt (Brown) vs. Ash (Green)] Ash: If our team doesn’t start winning rounds, we’re going to lose! Izzy: I don’t want to be on a team that gives up so easily! Win one for us, Ash! Ash puts on his helmet and gets into his go-kart. Matt is already waiting to go at the starting line. Ash: (CC) Tracey pulled through, so it’s my turn. I’ve got to win this to guarantee at least a tie. Matt: (CC) Right now I’m looking over at Ash. I’m saying to myself, how do I keep him from getting in front? You know what I’m thinking? Just leave him in the dust. Jump out front and don’t look back. If I can do that, we’re back in this. Jenny: (raising the flag) Ready boys? Ash and Matt nod. Jenny drops the flag and the two drivers take off. Matt, with the inside of the track, pulls ahead into the first turn. Ash, though, doesn’t deviate from his position just outside Matt. Gary: (yelling from the other side of the track) You’d better win Ash! As the duo enters the third turn, Matt is a half kart length ahead of Ash. Coming out of it and towards the start/finish line, the lead doubles to an entire kart. Jenny waves the white flag as the duo passes her. Ash’s teammates begin yelling at him like crazy. Cody: What are you doing? Izzy: Ash! Move to the inside, you fool! Gary: Damn it Ash! Cut inside! As the two karts come out of the first turn, Ash finally pulls in behind Matt. Matt now has a sizeable gap over Ash. He drives through the final two turns without any trouble. Ash is not close enough to challenge, as Matt crosses the finish line. While his team celebrates another victory, Ash’s team is irate. Gary, Izzy, and Cody walk over and drag Ash out of the car after he pulls to a stop. Ash: Hey! Gary: Just what were you doing out there? Ash: My strategy didn’t work, that’s all. Izzy: The heck it didn’t! Cody: I can’t believe you are so stupid! Gary: Thanks a lot, loser! As the trio walks away, Ash sadly walks off to be alone. Ash: (CC) I can’t believe them! Gary and Izzy don’t know how hard it is to drive these things! And what about Cody? I didn’t see him try anything! [Sixth Round - Gary (Green) vs. Tori (Brown)] Professor Oak stands at the starting line with Officer Jenny as Gary and Tori drive their cars into position. Jenny: Drivers ready? Gary and Tori give each other a serious look before focusing back on Officer Jenny and the starting flag. Jenny: (dropping the flag) Go! Gary presses hard on the gas pedal. In fact, he presses them so hard that he makes the rear tires spin. That delays him for a second, which is plenty of time for Tori to move ahead. The brown team begins to rejoice victoriously. The green team hangs their heads in defeat. Tori eventually crosses the finish line, with Gary several seconds back. Professor Oak watches as his grandson gets out of his go-kart. Gary throws his helmet to the ground in frustration. He braced for any comebacks that anyone might have. Especially Ash. But they never came. The other team was too busy celebrating that Tori hadn’t even taken off his helmet yet. His team was too busy moping around. Joe sadly grabs his helmet and walks over to his go-kart to prepare for the next race, knowing now that his run could be the deciding factor in the challenge. Gary then begins looking for Ash. But he wasn’t with the rest of the team. He glances back towards the stadium entrance and sees Ash sadly climb back into the van. * * * * * * * * * * [Seventh Round - Li (Brown) vs. Joe (Green)] Li puts on his helmet and makes his way over to his go-kart. Joe waits for him impatiently at the starting line. After about a minute, Li finally starts his kart and pulls it up to the starting line. Joe: It’s about time. Li ignores Joe’s remark and begins to focus on Officer Jenny and the starting flag. She finally drops it and the two go-karts take off flying. Li takes the early lead, but Joe drives hard into the first turn, as he manages to beat Li out. Joe moves over in front of Li as they enter turns three and four. Li tries to cut inside of Joe, but there’s no room. So he decides to follow right behind Joe. As Jenny waves the white flag, Joe can feel Li hounding him from behind. In fact, Joe is feeling a little intimidated by Li’s presence. So much that he slides way to the outside of the first turn, nearly avoiding the wall. Li salutes Joe as he drives by. Joe would not have enough time to get back up to speed, as Li pulls away and wins the race. After the race, Joe gets out of his go-kart and calmly walks over to Li, who is getting a couple of high fives from his team. Joe: You drove way too aggressively! Li: I personally saw nothing wrong with that. Joe: You could have killed me out there! Li: (walks away) You’re hopeless. I have nothing more to say to a rookie like you. Joe: Who are you calling a rookie? I’m three years your senior! Izzy: (running up to restrain Joe) Joe, let him go! It’s not worth picking a fight with Li. Joe: (turning to Izzy) You’re right. I’m just frustrated, that’s all. Izzy: I have to admit, you did pretty well to avoid hitting that wall. Joe: I wouldn’t have to worry about that if Li hadn’t been following me so closely. Izzy: Forget about it. I’ll tie this up and we’ll send it to sudden death. Izzy watches as Tai goes towards his go-kart for the next round. With a determined look on his face, Izzy puts his helmet on and heads for the track. [Eighth Round - Izzy (Green) vs. Tai (Brown)] Izzy and Tai have their go-karts lined up at the starting line. Jenny: Okay, this is the eighth and final round. If Tai wins this race, the brown team wins the challenge. If Izzy wins this race, that will tie the score at four apiece, forcing a sudden death race. Do you two understand? Izzy and Tai both nod in agreement. Tai: (CC) The whole team’s counting on me to win this! We had to come from behind to win this, and although we may have the momentum, I’m now willing to leave it to chance. Izzy: (CC) I’ve got to win to keep our team alive. If I just protect the inside line, I should be able to beat Tai. Jenny: (raises the green flag) Racers ready? Set? (drops the flag) Go! The go-karts take off. The teams cheer on their driver as the karts go through the first turn. Izzy, as planned, takes the inside line and doesn’t move from it, forcing Tai to pull behind him as they make their way to the backstretch. Tracey: Go Izzy! You can do it! The two karts make their way through turns three and four, with no change in position. As they get the white flag from Jenny, Tai tries to speed past Izzy on the outside. He gets a slight advantage as the two drive into the first turn. Matt: Come on Tai, get around him! Izzy pulls back ahead as the two of them come out of turn two. Tai pulls behind Izzy once again, then he quickly jumps back out. The slingshot maneuver catapults Tai ahead of Izzy. Tai leads the way into the final two turns. At the finish line, Professor Oak hands Officer Jenny the checkered flag. Oak: Isn’t this exciting? Jenny: Yes it is. It’s coming down to the wire. Coming out of the final turn and on to the front straightaway, Izzy pulls to the outside of Tai in order to race him to the finish. The two karts pull almost side by side as they approach the finish line. At the last second, Izzy loses his grip on the steering wheel ever so briefly. That disrupts his momentum, allowing Tai to cross the finish line just inches ahead of him. The small gap between the two karts spurned a heated argument between the two teams over who won the race. Richie: Izzy won, right? Tracey: Of course he did! Ken: Tai won and you guys know it! Tenchi: He was clearly first over the line. The argument comes to a close when Tai gets out of his go-kart and starts doing cartwheels all over the infield. In the meantime, Izzy is shaking his head and just wondering why he had to lose in a race that close. Jenny: (pointing the checkered flag towards Tai) I declare Tai the winner of round eight, giving the brown team the overall victory! The brown team runs over to Tai. Matt is the first to reach him, as he tackles his best friend to the ground. The rest of the team dog piles on top of them. The green team, on the other hand, has already started walking back towards the van. All except for Richie, Tracey, and Izzy, who is just getting out of his go-kart. Tracey: You guys come back here! It’s unsportsmanlike to just walk off! But Gary, TK, Cody, and Joe all ignore him, as they go to join Ash. Richie: (walking up beside Tracey) I know we lost, but we were having fun. Isn’t that what this contest is all about? Tracey: Obviously, they don’t seem to think so. Izzy: (slowly walking over to the duo) I’m sorry guys. I should have had him. Tracey: (pats Izzy on the back) It’s cool, dude. No one could have expected that move that Tai pulled out. Richie: Really! Where did he dig that trick up from? Tracey: You did your best! That’s all that matters! As Tai and the rest of the team dig themselves out of their own pile, they go over and congratulate Richie, Tracey, and Izzy on their performance. Night Twelve While the green team’s van headed straight back to Pallet Town, the brown team’s van accompanied Professor Oak and Officer Jenny to the Viridian City Pokémon Center to check up on Davis. Upon arrival, Jenny heads off for her nightly rounds around the city. Ken, Tai, and Brock join Professor Oak as they go inside the Pokémon Center, while the others wait in the van. Inside, Nurse Joy awaits them at the front desk. Oak: Hello, Nurse Joy. Joy: Hi there! Ken: How’s Davis? Can we see him? Joy: Sure! Follow me! She leads the quartet towards the patient’s rooms. Heading into the first one, the group gasps in shock. Davis is lying peacefully in bed, with three Chansey tending to his every need. One of them is fanning Davis with a leaf. A second is feeding him some grapes, one at a time. The third is holding a half-filled glass of water with a straw in it. Davis: Oh, hi guys! How are you? Tai: Davis! Are you okay? Davis: Of course I am! That’s what I kept telling Nurse Joy and these Chansey. But then they started waiting on me hand and foot... oh man, I felt like I was in heaven! Ken: Guess what? We won! Davis: (jumping out of his bed) Seriously? That’s great! Brock: (dreamily looking at Joy) I wonder if Nurse Joy would take care of me if I got hurt. Oak: Ahem. Speaking of which, why did you bring Davis here if he wasn’t really injured? Joy: I’m not really sure. Maybe it’s just me, but there’s something about him that makes butterflies flutter around in my stomach. Davis: I don’t know what that means, but it sounded good to me! Brock gasps in shock once again. This time, his face turns to a shade of dismal blue. Brock slowly walks out of the room and towards the front door. Tai: Ready to head back to the mansion? Ken: I know I’m ready. I can’t wait to get a good rest. Davis: Me too. (turns to the Chansey) Thanks for everything you guys! All 3 Chansey: Chansey! The Chansey then walk off to resume their regular duties. Joy: I’ll be right back with your clothes. Davis gets out of bed wearing nothing but a hospital gown. Joy smiles as she disappears so she can get his stuff. Professor Oak leaves the room, probably to follow Brock back outside. Tai and Ken stare at Davis, speechless. Davis: What? * * * * * * * * * * Day Thirteen Ash grabs his hat from the closet and puts it on. He then motions towards the front door, intending to go out for a little bit. TK appears at the top of the stairs, catching him in the act. TK: Ash! Wait up! Ash: (turns to TK, who is now coming down the stairs) What? TK: Where are you headed off? Ash: Nowhere in particular. I just feel like walking. TK: Can I come with you? Ash: (turning back to towards the door) No. TK reaches the bottom of the stairs and grabs Ash’s right shoulder just as he opens the door. TK: I know you’re a little mad about what happened yesterday. You need someone to talk to. Allow me to be that person. Ash: Why are you doing this? Don’t you have anything better to do? TK: I feel like I have to help a person in need. Is there anything wrong with that? Ash: (after a moment to think) I guess not. A couple of minutes later, Ash and TK are now out on the main road, heading up the mountains overlooking nearby Route 21. TK: So you and Gary have been rivals ever since you began your Pokémon journey? Ash: Yeah. He always thinks that he’s better than I am. TK: I know how you feel. Ash: Huh? Oh yeah, that thing between you and Davis. TK: Yeah. Ash: What is up with that anyway? TK: Kari, the girl that we both care for a lot, is a good friend of mine. We first met three years ago when the other Digidestined and I discovered that she was the eighth child. Ash: Eighth child? TK: Yeah, there used to be only seven of us. Tai, Matt, Izzy, Joe, Sora, Mimi, and myself. Ash: Sora? Mimi? I’m guessing they’re both girls. TK: Yep. Maybe you’ll get to meet them one day. Ash: I’d bet Brock would love to meet them. TK: I agree with you on that one. He’ll be all over them. Let’s see, anyway, she lived with Tai directly downtown in Odaiba, while I lived with my mom over in the suburbs. After our adventure in the Digiworld, we didn’t see each other again until a couple of months ago, when we moved into the city. Ash: Then what? TK: That’s when I met Davis for the first time. It seemed that he and Kari had been classmates for the past couple of years. He took an instant dislike to me when he saw me talking to her on the first day of school. He thought I was her boyfriend. He was so jealous! Ash: So if you two are dating, why is Davis still after her? TK: That’s just it... we haven’t gone on a date yet. I haven’t officially admitted my love for her yet. Ash: Maybe you see each other just as friends. TK stops dead in his tracks. Ash does the same, just a few steps in front of him. Ash glances back and sees TK sadly look over at a nearby pink carnation flower. Ash: I hope I didn’t upset you. TK kneels down, picks the flower from the ground, and then sniffs it. He then turns towards Ash and responds. TK: No. (sighs) I don’t know. It’s just that whenever I’m alone with her... TK then turns away from Ash. He begins to admire the flower he had just picked. Ash: I see. Ash tried to act as if he understands. But Ash clearly had no idea how TK was feeling. TK: Maybe some day I’ll be able to tell her. Hey! Ash: What? TK: Why are we talking about Kari, Davis, and myself? This talk was supposed to be about you and Gary! Ash: It was, wasn’t it? Where should I start? TK: Why don’t you start from the beginning? Ash: It all started many years ago, when Gary and I were still infants... Back at the mansion, Matt and Joe are out on the far side of the grounds, looking down on Professor Oak’s Pokémon Preserve. They are lying peacefully on the grass, enjoying the sights and sounds of a warm spring day. Matt: This is the life! Joe: You said it! We’ve never had a day as beautiful as this one. Matt: I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I can’t disagree. Just how many days like this can one have? Joe: Ask Izzy. He’d probably know. Matt: Say, where is Izzy today anyway? In the first floor recreation room, Izzy is all alone, surfing the web. The camera isn’t getting a good view of the screen, but whatever’s on, Izzy sure seems to be enjoying it. In the study, Richie is busy reading a book that he found in one of the shelves. Li then walks into the room, with a dustpan in one hand and a broom in the other. Li: What are you doing in here? Richie: I found this great book. It’s a murder mystery. I’m at the part where the victim is about to get shot. Li: How about doing your share around the house? Richie: I keep my room clean. I make sure that the bathroom is clean after I use it. What more do you want me to do? Li hands Richie the dustpan and the broom, causing him to drop his book. Li: You can start by cleaning this room. Li walks out, leaving Richie to do some chores of his own. Elsewhere in the house, Tai, Ken, and Davis are talking about what exactly went on at the Pokémon Center. Tai: Come on Davis! You can’t fool me! Ken: Yeah. There’s something fishy here. Davis: Nothing out of the ordinary happened yesterday. Tai: So why did you let Nurse Joy whisk you away? Davis: I was afraid of that Chansey. Ken: (giggles) Seriously? Tai: Why would you be afraid of that? Davis: I can explain! Tai: I’d love to hear this! Ken: How can anyone ever be scared of something pink? Davis: I was afraid that the Chansey would have sat on me! Tai: (laughs) Is that all? Why did you worry about something as stupid as that? Davis: Oh yeah? I’ll be the one laughing when a Chansey falls from the sky and lands on your back! Tai: Like that’ll happen. Ken: But if you’re so afraid of them, why did we see them waiting on you in bed? Davis: That was Nurse Joy’s idea. I had nothing to do with it. Tai: And you let her do that? Davis: Well, I was scared at first. But then when they started feeding me... man, I felt like I was in heaven. Ken: I still don’t get it. Wouldn’t she have her Chansey perform more meaningful tasks, such as taking of the other injured Pokémon? Davis: I guess she didn’t think of that. Tai: I think something happened between you two, and I’m sure that it was more than just a check-up. Davis: Are you saying that I like Nurse Joy? Tai: Not exactly, but somewhere along those lines. Davis: Unbelievable! She’s got to be at least twice my age! You really think I’d give up Kari for her? Ken: No offense Tai, but I’m siding with Davis on this one. He’s done a lot of crazy things before, but this is so unlike him. It’s beyond comprehension. Tai: Maybe it’s just me, but I have this strange hunch that Davis isn’t telling the truth. Davis: I’ve told you all there is! There’s nothing more! Tai: Screw you! Davis: (gasps) Tai! Tai: I intend to ask Professor Oak all about it! It’s for your own good! Ken: Tai! This is all unnecessary! Tai: Ken, think about it! I’m concerned here for Davis’s well being! Ken: By calling him a liar? Davis: Yeah! I mean no! Wait, is it yes? I’m confused... Tai pulls Ken out of the room and begins talking to him in private. Tai: Don’t tell Davis this... but I have reason to believe that Nurse Joy may have done something to him. Ken: Like what? Tai: Isn’t it obvious? Ken thinks to himself for a second before he too gets the same thought that Tai has. Ken: She wouldn’t... would she? Tai: She probably told Davis to keep it a secret. Ken: Even if she did, you can’t prove it. There’s no evidence. Tai: I say we find some. I’m sure if we tell Professor Oak our plan, he’ll let us go through with it. Ken: I don’t know about this, Tai. Tai: Trust me on this. Even if I’m wrong, we’re better off safe than sorry. Ken eyes Tai very suspiciously. Tai just shrugs his shoulders in indecision. Tai: So sue me. I can’t think of anything else to describe this predicament. Ken: So how do we break the news to Davis? Tai: We don’t... yet. We let him go for now. We always know where he is anyway, so if we need him again we can reach him. Ken: Okay. But you’d better be careful about this. You’re going to be looking mighty dumb if this theory of yours falls through. The two of them walk back into the room. Tai: You’re right Davis. It’s not my right to judge you without any knowledge of what you’ve done. Davis: (a little confused) In other words? Tai: I’m sorry I accused you of liking Nurse Joy. I just assumed... Davis: Well, you assumed wrong, Tai. I have enough common sense to know what’s right and what’s wrong. Nurse Joy and I have nothing going on. That’s all you need to know. Davis walks out of the room and towards the front door to go outside so he can be alone for awhile. Tai and Ken watch him leave. Both of them have a sad look plastered on their faces. Ken: Whatever you’re planning Tai, just be careful. Tai: Don’t worry. I will. I’m going to find out the truth, even if it kills me. Davis opens the front door and walks out of the mansion. He closes the door behind him. End Episode Seven Oak: (VO) On the next episode... Joy: I think it’s utterly preposterous that you think I forced him to do something like that! Oak: Obviously, some of the boys think that’s exactly what you did. Davis: I’m telling you, it’s all lies! Tai: We’re doing this for your own personal safety! Davis: (crossing his arms over his chest) Where have I heard that before? Oak: (VO) Could there really be something between Nurse Joy and Davis Motimiya? TK: I know him and I are in a truce over Kari, but this is a ridiculous way to pass the time! Brock: (blushing) Davis is so lucky. Tori: What do you make of this? Tenchi: If that nurse had any common sense, she’d know better. That’s all I have to say on the matter. Tracey: I’m just shocked over it all. Oak: (VO) Will the truth finally be revealed? Joy: I did not have sexual relations with that boy! Jenny: (pulling out a pair of handcuffs) You are under arrest! Izzy: I believe in making this show more exciting and everything, but really! There’s got to be some honest, logical explanation for this! Ash: I like Pokémon! Everyone turns and looks at him strangely. Davis: (CC) Kari! If you can hear me... HELP! Li: (sweatdrops) This is so pathetic... Oak: (VO) That’s next time. Sheesh, talk about scandals... Copyright Date: 6/25/01
